Let’s not forget the QB that Brady singled out when he “retired” earlier this year.

How could he have known? /sarcasm
I watched an interview with Doug on Chris Long’s podcast and he said something about Trevor that I feel like we all know but it stood out to me and nice to hear Doug say it out loud into the media. I’m paraphrasing but he mentions our 2nd year ascending QB already has a ‘wealth of NFL experience in just year 2’.

These are my thoughts & words now but he experienced being in one of the worst positions nearly any QB (much less a rookie) could be put in last season. Now in year 2 things have clicked and he is experiencing winning. He is playing in big games. He’s already experienced some pretty nice highs and some terrible lows. As terrible as last year was - a lot of what he experienced will ultimately be a positive for him as he progresses throughout his career IMO. Sometimes you need to experience those lows and situations that aren’t ideal so you know recognize the red flags when they appear. I don’t want to ever go through last szn again obviously and I don’t want Trevor to ever have to go through anything like that again. But when it’s all said and done after his first 2 seasons he really is going to be sitting there at age 23 with a ‘wealth of nfl experience’ already.

And how he handled last season and responded to it shows us what type of person and player we have as our franchise QB for a very long time.

That stat is INSANE.

Yeah but didn't have 30 passing TDs this season. Trade him while he has some value. Should have traded him 3 weeks ago before this stretch of "poor games"

The most significant part is the sack percentage. The Jaguars offensive line is [BLEEP], absolute garbage. He was avoiding sacks through his quick release, fast decision making, and athleticism, not because he had good protection.

If the team builds up a little more talent around him he'll win Superbowls here.

Just saw that. I'm still getting used to not having to scroll up from the bottom to find the Jags quickly in articles like this, but 6th place is higher than I was expecting...

Beautiful improvement, would like to see that TD number in the 30's but hey, he's on the right path.

When you include his rushing TD's, he was in the 30's.
Trevor Lawrence Puts Undefeated Streak On Line In Saturday's Wild Card (outkick.com)

Trevor Lawrence knows what it is like to lose, considering that the Jaguars were terrible last season and went 9-8 in 2022/23, but he has likely forgotten what it is like to lose on a Saturday. He has not done so since at least middle school.

No, seriously.

Trevor Lawrence has not lost a football game on a Saturday, dating back to 2014.
That streak will be put to the test this weekend as he plays against the Chargers at 8:15 p.m. ET on January 14, 2023. It is a Saturday..
Doug and Trevor about to put on a playoff clinic! I hope..

Good to see Trevor get some face time with the national media, but man, Chris Simms is annoying as an interviewer.

Reminds me of the little dog in this cartoon for some reason:

Could NBC have gotten anyone else to do this?  Would have been a massive upgrade whoever else it could have been.

Hmmm one game versus multiple good ones. First playoff start for a young QB. You don’t post at all when he’s doing well.

I refer to that troll as Minshew's jockstrap.

That's all he is.
