Going to be interesting how he adjusts his platform to be able to generate throw power while in the early stages of healing.
Watching Mahomes last year, he used his left leg, hips, and upper body masterfully to generate power. There were times where he didnt even have his right foot anchored on the ground and was still lasering balls.

We've seen on many occasions that Trevor can sling it with just his arm talent while off base, on the run, left foot, etc. I'm not too worried about that. My main concern is his mobility and escapability (sp?)

He does make those type of throws when needed for sure
Just havent seen him have to do it for an entire game and probably multiple games. The pain issue is going to linger for a few weeks if he doesn't reaggravate

Im actually not as concerned with the mobility thing, itll just be something he cant lean on and just needs to be smarter in how he deals with pressure. More throw ways and check downs, more subtle movements, just being more aware of the pocket and situations. This is something he needs to work on anyways.

A lot of these concerns can be alleviated if Press can get the run game going, need that aspect of the offense to get going more than anything

Agreed. I just think because of those said concerns above? You don't put him out there against the #1 and #2 ranked defenses in back-to-back weeks because you're just begging for something worse to happen to that ankle and/or knee there. These next two defensive fronts this offensive line is fixing to face are [BLEEP] NASTY.

I really want the league, the national and local pundits to really get a glimpse of how bad this offensive line is at the expense of Beathard to some degree. I know it sounds like a [BLEEP] up thing to say but it needs to be done and it needs to be seen. Maybe folks will appreciate the kid a little bit more when he's back after these next two tough games.

HAHA. Good [BLEEP]. But, man, unless he can put a lot of weight on it and run on it? Especially in this bad weather? Just rest.
Cyborg leg
I rewatched the first half last night and the second half today and saw the injury occur with all the close ups and honestly it didn't look as bad on TV as it did in the stands. Granted I sit closer to the opposite end zone so I was basing my feeling on Trevor's reaction in the moment more than anything else. I'm not saying it didn't hurt and still isn't sore, but I've seen worse close ups of high ankle sprains.
I think jags should let CJ start remaining 5 games, save Trevor for next season ,or playoffs if jags still make playoffs. Jags won't make it to Super Bowl, and if they are going to preform like they did monday on nationtial tv they don't need to be in the Super Bowl.

Team is still serveal players away as well as expirence. if we make playoffs let Trevor get more playoff expirence.  Then sign  players you already have  to new contracts if needed in offseason, and go after all the other players you need.

Whoa my dude. You always should try to win. You never know when a team can get hot and make a run. You could be giving up on a superbowl!

Unreal. How is he not even in a boot?

That's odd. If it's Wednesday and he's just walking around like that with no boot or limp? He's probably only going to miss one game. May not even miss this Sunday to be honest.

Looks like he's able to put weight on it just fine based on his press conference. Not the same as planting on it, but still

I wouldn't have expected him to be walking that well and to not even be in a boot.

He will keep rehabbing and I guess he may get the questionable tag.
I definitely get the feeling this is less of an injury than his knee was and he missed no time at all for that
none of us know whats going to happen moveing forward.  there is one thing all of us need to do.  we need to respect Trey Hendrickson, not only does he try to help Trevor up, when he sees him fall down he takes off helmelt and prays.

That is a very very classy human.  we send be thanking him for being so classy.

Yeah. He has three and a half days left to really get it healed up. Pretty interesting but I think he'll end up playing this Sunday as a gametime decision. He probably enjoys the narrative and tough guy label. Remember, this guy went out with a brace on his knee to proceed running all over the Saints and leading the team that night in rushing yardage.

There's probably a real sense of urgency because if you lose to Cleveland you run the risk of dropping down a seed or two if we finish with the same record and for whatever reason, the clots or tinhorns win the AFC South by winning out.

I still think he should sit though man. I really don't like this offensive line matched-up with Cleveland and Baltimore next week. I really, really don't. And we know damn well his ankle will be the focal point by defenders when they're around him.
Hopefully the online steps up and protects better.

The line has actually been pretty stable pass blocking these past three games; all things considered. Against Tennessee, I don’t believe they allowed a single sack and against Houston. I want to say they didn’t allow sack either. Trevor was also pressures less going by pressure rate. And then, when he got injured in the Bengals game was because our own lineman  stepped on him. Stupid? Yes. But Trevor had only been sacked once so far and was balling on MNF.

Now run block? Yah. Atrocious.

These are the type of things Brett Favre did and why he set the record for most straight games played by a QB.  Trevor is a warrior
