Is there a single impressive throw from TLaw that doesn't involve him getting absolutely clobbered? I cringe every time I watch these replays because Trevor gets demolished every time. Our oline should be ashamed.
I know it's only a sample of one, but if that video is representative, we don't need new players. We need to coach up the ones we have, because that was a mental mistake, not the result of any physical deficiency.

While this (mental errors) is def part of the problem with our line, I can find you a dozen examples from this year alone where they simply get manhandled by the guy across from them and Trevor gets hit because of it.
Not good enough.
We need to upgrade Center this offseason and very likely LG if Little becomes the LT long term
Scherff will need a protege too unless Hodges pans out in that role

That was one of the best clutch passes I've ever seen. When we hit that pass I said, oh, my God. This is not the same old Jags. And then when I saw an analysis of it, and learned, he audibled into that, and knew he was going to get hit, wow. If that isn't an elite QB, I don't know who is.
Kudos to Ridley for providing some width along the sideline so Trevor could loop it in there.

It's just so beautiful to watch our Offense look like an NFL offense...
Lawrence is great. And when the O-Line and the play calling is right, we look unstoppable.
No other QB in the NFL processes as fast as Lawrence does. If we just get him another .5 seconds per play, he'd pick apart every team.
It's gonna be really cool when Ridley really shakes off all the rust and goes back to being as good as he was in ATL, now he has a QB that can gettem the ball hes gonna be a menace.

Sure is! Back in the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 days we had a whole crew of my buddies with the gamertags imtheXXXranger. We had Red, Blue, Black, Yellow, Pink, Green, White. Basically everyone. Hopped in a game on a firesquad one game and the other team goes “holy [BLEEP] we’re playing the Power Rangers!”

In the last game he was hit something like 60% of his drop backs and some of them were brutal. The guy is tough and he's playing down the field, but just because we CAN do this doesn't mean that it's a good idea because eventually one of those hits is going to wreck him. So sure, keep calling those 7 steps while he's got linemen all over him, that's really good for the future of the franchise. It's not that we "can't" do this because we aren't able, it's that we "shouldn't" press our Luck.

I don't think anyone ever said "we can't." The Jags offense hit a low percentage of downfield plays in the early weeks. So whether we "can" was never in question. It's just doing it "more" was never the answer. And ramping up downfield attempts remains a recipe for ending the year with Trevor on IR.

i watched this last night, it was really good stuff there, especially on the one play where Fortner called out the LB and went Rogue.
That jumped out to me. Because it got Lawrence absolutely hammered on the play. He thought it was wise, as a Center, to somehow disengage Ed Oliver, a really good interior pass rusher, who has been on a hot streak this season, to run over and jump on Von Miller from the outside edge where I think that was his first game back.
I get the guess work there mentally, however. To me, that goes back to what my stance is with Walker with moving him inside to use his strength more effectively. Your goal is to protect your QB. The easiest way to get to any QB is to shorten the distance from point A to point QB. Interior rushers always have that advantage 9 times out of 10.
So, the fact that he thought that was a good idea is scary. I hope the lineman group, Pederson and Rauscher gave him a ration of [BLEEP] for that nonsense.
