He had 4 TD passes in 4 games. Then got blown out by the 49ers 42-10.

Since then? 12 TDs and 2 interceptions in 4 games and the Cowboys are 3-1 in those games.

Sometimes you need to get punched in the mouth before you wake up. Hopefully that's the case for Trevor and the Jags.

I think that's a fair point. Our losses have been to the Chiefs, Niners and Houston (who are now the darling of the NFL). Those are 2 SB favourites and we had a terrible game against Houston. We've also beaten some good teams along the way and have had a pretty tough schedule so far and it stays tough.

I definitely think the Niners game could help us long term. Just refocused everyone in the building and reminds them how ruthless the top teams are and how we aren't there yet. The Niners hit us with their best shot, I'd rather have that than sneak a win against a banged up Niners who beat themselves if you know what i mean.

But I do expect a reaction from the players and coaches as that's the culture they've built there. We beat Houston/Bengals/Ravens and suddenly the whole atmosphere changes.

We need to best Tennessee first

Best thing to do in that situation is block the nasty commenters or just block out the noise. Whether she likes it or not. Comes with the territory as you said. Fans pay the bills. Some fans suck. It is what it is.

It drastically changes. I am confident it will. This team showed a [BLEEP] ton of resilience last year under worse circumstances. There's no reason not to believe in these guys figuring it out with eight games left.

Not looking for blow out wins or fluid games from start to finish. Just give me a win. By 1 or 100. A win is a win.

I completely agree. Last year they were down a lot of games but pulled it back, down in the playoffs, 1-2 to 6-2 this year. We've seen them fight and turn things around.

We aren't a team yet that comes out and blows teams away yet. For our great record the last 17 games, there's not really been a blowout or someone we destroyed. We aren't that team yet that comes out and puts 35pts up before the half. I wish we were but it's ok we aren't at the moment. This team has shown it can win in a number of different ways and I'd prefer that rather than living or dying just on Lawrence ( just look at Buffalo).

Your 100% right but I don't think a W this weekend impresses the criticis, it will be about the T*tans being bad and on a down year. A win against the teams they've been raving about is harder to excuse away.
Trevor's presser is live right now. Idk if any of you are watching but he sounds different than usual. He sounds much more determined and in charge. Maybe it's me reading into it, but I can sense a big difference in his tone and demeanor. That SF beat down may have sparked something in this offense.

Everyone knows the tittians are playing above their talent so far, but they do it by being tough, strong and gritty. This week isn't going to be easy, that D Line is licking their chops like lions appraising a lamb.

Yepper. I don't think they'll come out as soft and unprepared as they did against the 49ers. After that lines performance? Rauscher should have had them hitting the sled collectively going 100 yards one way and back the other way a solid 5x to get the [BLEEP] out of their system.

Being tough, strong and gritty is sometimes a mindset. It's not always about just being a gym rat. Plenty of guys know this from lifting. There's always a rep or two in the tank to pull out of you if you're being honest with yourself, finding that fire in your belly and not being too chicken [BLEEP] to attack the situation instead of reacting to it and letting it come to you.

These guys need to come out on Sunday and be [BLEEP] nasty and mean. Set the tone. I'll forgive an early personal foul or hands to the face in this one. Just don't let it cost you a TD of course. LOL.

Oh, maybe that analogy will help.

We're in the gym, you and I, and I set 360 on the rack. "I need you bench this" I say. You say, "I can't bench that much it's 170 pounds over my max."

Nonsense I say, you just need to be coached right. Now, let's do this.

"But I can't" you say, "I can't lift that much!"

Ok then, I say, how about if I change the weights around and use 20s and 10s instead of 45s, that will work. Ok, now let's get in there.

"But I still can't lift it!"

Well ok then, how about I use a different bar. Ok, now I've put the weights on this EZ Bar instead of the Olympic we had. Time to shine!

So you look at me like I'm nuts, lay down on the bench, and promptly crush yourself under the weight you couldn't lift no matter how we proposed it.

This team's line is that weight, and no coach, formation, or play call can change the fact that they just get whipped by the guys across the trench from them. They were 31st rated coming into the year and they've really lived up to the moniker, and it's not going to change 10 games into the season. They don't practice hard and strength train in November, that stuff is done in the summer and camp. This time of year is body maintenance and conservation. You seem to think that they are going to have a radical change, but by this point of the year you are what you are, and this team is just plain weak in the trench. And we get to go against another one of the bullies this week.

Lift it. Pick up the heaviest thing you can in the room and move it. I like where this is going. Add a couple of spotters on each side and anything is possible. Some of those TE's on the edge can get some bicep curls in while this soft [BLEEP] interior tries to muster up the strength to get it off their chest a little bit.

Those tackles can pinch inside as well. I usually don't go out of my way to say [BLEEP] like this. But, man, I hope like hell on Sunday they specifically use these formations and have success off of it just so I can be that [BLEEP] on Sunday to say I told you so. Can't wait.

I think we've seen the same thing for 10 games now. Sometimes they can overcome it, sometimes they can't. I hope you're right, but the facts are that it's not an excuse to say the guys we have just aren't good enough. The key, I think, is Walker Little. He's better than he played last week, so maybe another start at guard will be the thing. I just don't think that even with more playing time he's going to be a good guard. Maybe Cleveland can be the glue there, but it doesn't seem that way so far.

And that's sadly going to be how most Dlines see going up against our Oline until they show up in a game. The Oline have struggled all year but I think there is talent there but they haven't played to it yet. I want them to be angry about how they've played, I want to see a reaction from them.

Anybody who actually watches the games and understands what they're watching knows it's an OLine problem. It's very obvious.

Press the Receivers, rush 4 and jump all the short routes. 49ers set the blue print on Sunday. Until the OL can prove they can actually block, there's no reason why teams should change up that approach.

The thing with Lawrence is he seems to be in kind of a sophomore slump. Yeah it’s his third year but the Urban Meyer debacle was kind of a redshirt year. DCs have figured out how to best attack him and our lousy OL is being zero help. Now it’s up to Trevor to punch back and take the next step as a franchise WB should.

Doug knows it's an Oline problem.

If he didn't we'd be in deep dook.
