Your words:
Thread opens fine for me
You can TRY to keep just lying about what happened and hope ppl will forget or not bother to demonstrate how you are clearly 100% full of [BLEEP], but don't worry. I'll continue to make sure you're actual craptastic takes live on.
Yeah i'm gonna go ahead and say that 12 tds 17 ints and an 8 game stretch of not being able to reach the endzone isn't exactly promising football. And I do not think many people will argue that in january of 2022 there was much hope for the upcoming season, anybody who claims they thought this team or Trevor would improve to the point of winning a wildcard playoff game is drunk on teal kool-aid or a liar. I still never called him a bust, I said he didn't show much in his rookie campaign which is backed up by the film and the stats. He had 20+ turnovers and 12 tds in 17 games. It was possibly the worst full season a QB has ever played for this team.
Again, where did I say he was a bust? and Where did I say I had no faith in him to ever be good? I absolutely had no faith in the 2022 season, This was pre Doug Pederson and coming off one of the worst football years in our clubs history.
Please tho, try to find a new quote because this one dosen't hold any merrit to your argument.. it didn't 3 months ago when you posted it, and it still dosen't.
LOL
YOUR post literally says you have no faith in Trevor Lawrence.
Hahaha. Jeezzzuss you are [BLEEP] hilarious.
Guess what, moron:
A multitude of NFL fans (who know a good QB prospect from a hole in the ground) saw exactly what you saw and recognized a [BLEEP] load of potential and felt good about how it would work out.
You didn't, and you whined about it like a little [BLEEP].
Now you want to back off your hate, mitigate your idiotic blathering, and attempt to qualify your garbage with descriptors.
"I know I said Trevor Lawrence SUCKS. Fine. B,b,b,but I never said Trevor Lawrence sucks donkey balls! So there! Go on and try to find a post where I said he sucks donkey balls! You can't, cuz you're old and I think people actually believe my lies!"
LOL
Do you not grow tired of this?

But even with the bad start you cite above, he still closed the season with a better than 3-1 TD-INT ratio and finished the regular season with <10 INTs.
This is his second year in the offense, and he has more weapons at his disposal with the addition of Ridley.
He's still a young QB and will make his share of mistakes. No regularly starting QB has gone an entire year without throwing an INT. But there are still reasons for optimism. He has a talented supporting cast, including good RBs, receivers and blockers. Equally important, he has excellent offensive coaches.
Trevor Lawrence is NOT an elite QB (Right now)
He absolutely played great from weeks 9 to 18 last season, the prior weeks he had 10 tds 6 ints and 6 fumbles. however. He was NOT good to start the year at all.
This is his second year in the offense and you're absolutely right with that combined with the addition of Ridley he absolutely SHOULD improve, but he also NEEDS to improve.. I've said it over and over again how impressed I was with his second half of the last season, but he needs to still be better than that.. and for a full season. 25 TD passes a year is pittiful in a now 17 game season. Good QBs are throwing at least 2 tds a game, averaging like 1.4/game is not ideal. However I will give him mega props on dropping the interceptions down to 8, that was great to see.
I agree he's still young, and will make mistakes but at least he finally showed us what he can become in time at the end of this past season, and let's just hope his trajectory remains upwards.
So by your standards only seven quarterbacks were not ‘pitiful’ last year?
Got it.

I think a little Jaguars bias is showing to put Lawrence in at #4. Hurts and Herbert have to be in contention and Rodgers, despite being at the end of his career, can still play with the best.
Notable mention: With his off-the-field problems behind him, Watson could be a new player this year and I'm expecting Wilson to return to form under Sean Payton. I think both will work their way back into the top 10 by the end of the season.

But he's trending in that direction and is far closer than you think or care to acknowledge.
If he was in the first year of his offense last year, and the light finally came on for him in the second half of the season, why wouldn't he produce at a level closer to the second half of the season over the course of an entire season now that the light is now on?
Your objectivity on this point is still in question. You insisted that he makes the same mistakes throwing the same INTs he threw his rookie year, but completely ducked my observation that he cut his INTs by more than half until just now only now giving him "mega props" as an afterthought after his progress completely disproves your assertion about him not improving his INTs You dismiss his TDs as "pittiful" (SIC), but fail to acknowledge he more than doubled his rookie year TDs, or that his "pittiful" TD production places him in the top 3rd of NFL QBs.

When we're talking about supposidly "Elite" "Generational" or "Franchise guys" absolutely, not to say some may have fallen short due to missing games etc. But yeah, 7 sounds about right. The Top Tier QBs of the NFL is rarely ever more than 7 guys, if even that.

His stats midway through 2020 were 10 tds, 6 ints, and 5 or 6 fumbles. Like I said, week 9 he started to turn a corner. He got better. Some guys do, some don't. Even still he had moments where his typical issues showed their head.. he absolutely got better.

As much as pretty much everyone knows his ability level in the league at this point, he definitely has to show it again this year to get the label officially. Which I think is the point Brandt was trying to make with his listings even if he went overkill on the low ranking.
Come playoffs this year there will be no doubt about Trevor in the mainstream outlets.

This is BS Trevor has shown from that last game against the colts in his rookie season that he has elite play making ability throwing the rock in high pressure situations for TD that is insane. I don't want to hear Herbert is better crap when dude lost head to head twice. I don't want to hear excuses Trevor threw 4 Int's some on here literally that is all they registered it don't matter that most QB's that they deemed Elite would not have done it. Climb out of that hole and WIN . Hell Herbert could even muster nothing but three points to a defense who did hold him Herbert dispite not getting a single turnover SMDH.
