Yes, turnovers and ball security must improve. Some absolutely brutal turnovers in key moments being careless with the ball for sure. I believe he will correct this but it’s definitely something that has to get better for this team to succeed.

I’m trying to be optimistic that we will upgrade the Oline.

I don't think they have much of a choice to be honest with you in regards to upgrading the offensive line. It's been bad the past two years and there's no excuses for it outside of the personnel department and coaching staff failing miserably in their evaluations collectively.

If we don't have at least two to three new starters on that line next season I would be not only concerned, but, questioning everybody in charge. It's criminal negligence by then. They should be targeting the top three players at Center, Left Guard & Right Guard while looking to add more starting caliber players as early as the opening night of the draft.

I really like Brady's takes on things. Never thought I'd say it, but listening to him now that he's not playing and just analyzing what he's seeing around the league is very good.

LOL. My first reaction (before I got it) was that there was no way Lawrence was going to press 345.

Most QB's can't. Probably too risky with aggravating a shoulder or elbow. When I was a kid though I heard Mark Brunell could bench press 400 pounds.

I hope it does as well. It's a perfect example for what this kid has been tasked with handling since day one here and going into year four we're still seeing the biggest issue come up every off season. Piss poor line play and no consistency with the running game.
That's the best analogy for Trevor in Jax I can think of.

It's not David Carr bad.. but it's close. Protect your QB

Nah, I don't think Trevor has had it nearly as bad as Carr, OL wise. Trevor is also a far superior prospect and has played at a higher level. I am quite critical of Trevor because of his status coming into the NFL, I expect a lot from him, but I don't think you can compare anything about TL to Carr on the Texans. Carr could have had a top 3 OL and still been mid as hell. Trevor with a top 3 O line likely breeds an elite level QB.

It's a smart bet now to get ahead of it. Just hope they do what's best for him in the long run. Failure to upgrade this offensive line by at least two spots this off season is criminally insane.

I gotta think Trevor's side is going to have some non-negotiables around protecting him. How exactly they'd do that idk, but it seems pretty logical they'd insist on attempts to upgrade the OL for him

Some of understand the nature of the game and accept reality. If we want to keep him long term, lowballing ain't gonna get it done, nor are you gonna see anyone else want to join the party, either.

I'll take "Ways To Lose Your Locker Room" for $1000, Alex.

TLaw needs to just play his contract out.  Then he can evaluate what is better, staying with the Jags or hitting the free market.

Trevor reportedly has had a sit down with the triumvirate (this offseason) and expressed what he thinks needs to happen for him to have success in Jacksonville. That means Khan, Doug and Baalke are all taking Lawrence's needs and desires into consideration as they navigate this offseason.

That doesn't happen if your scenario is something being considered.

Going elsewhere is likely not on anyone's radar right now.

The only decision TL needs to make is if he wants to get paid now - or after he has another season to prove he's worth even more money.

When I was in high school, my football team went on a recruiting trip to Duke. We got to see all their football facilities including their weight room. They had a whiteboard in their weight room that listed all the player's max bench press. The lowest was a sophomore kicker at 285 lbs.

I remember talk about Brunell's bench press. I remember it being stated as 400 or more. They said it was the highest of any QB in the NFL.

It is on my radar. I have long felt TL just is not the kind of guy to pan his teammates no matter what he thought. Earlier I posted that if the management could not develop a line that was at least average Trevor would not stay. Really would you want to spend your entire career running for you life? How about having to line up in shotgun on every 3rd and short because most of the time the running back is hit in the backfield?  Many of the mistakes we see are him trying to make plays in a less than average environment. The kid deserves much better.

That feels like a fake whiteboard to impress High School kids and make them work harder
