Ugh. Would Doug have come here if Wilson was the QB? Lots of variables but I’m glad we ended up here with Trevor.

Probably not. It seems I read somewhere he came here because of Trevor.
Two weeks to revel in what has happened this season. I'm all in. Soaking it all in, trying to overdose on all the praise and good feelings about this team from the media.

Here's PFF on "What QBs would you take over Trevor Lawrence if you were starting a franchise today?"

No, he wouldn’t have.  He saw/knew what some of us saw/knew.
Man it feels so great to have THE guy in Jacksonville.
Yo, where’d all the haters go?

Some are waiting in the weeds waiting for a bad outing. Others have taken the L and been welcomed back into the fold with open arms. Then we have the “well akshully I wasn’t wrong” or “well akshully I never said that” variety.  Fun times.

I wouldn't call myself a hater as much as a pessimistic doubter, and I am here to say I was wrong about this guy.

AND HOT D A M N IT FEELS GOOD TO BE WRONG

Bro you know you toed the line so you could be right and/or not wrong no matter how it played out, we all know it/saw it and that's why you'll continue to get jabs about it. You had the spin cycle going full speed and still do lol.
On this day, the day after Christmas, I am taking a moment to ponder the fact that we might have a historically great quarterback on our hands.  And the perfect head coach to go with him.

My head is spinning.  Maybe I've had too much coffee this morning, but Good God, what a thing to happen.

I think perhaps we should give some credit to QB coach Mike McCoy.  He has to be the one coaching the great mechanics Trevor is exhibiting.

this needs to be echoed

I did not think Trevor would be able to correct while in season some of the footwork and timing issues he was having early in the year

Not only is he excelling in the weekly game planning, but making corrections to his core abilities.
Takes a tremendous amount of work to make those corrections while figuring out how to execute and gameplan week in and week out.

His play over the month is something I did not think we would see until next year

These are just a few of your receipts. There are more. Please just stop denying your repeated gross overreactions.

"He sucks"

"Trevor's been [BLEEP]"

"Even Bortles in his rookie year had flashes ... Trevor hasn't had any"

"I have no faith"

"He can't throw a football consistently. Period. Not in question"

Agreed. In retrospect, it should have been obvious. He was interviewed early n the process. Then like the rest of us, he waited and waited and waited. There were any number of coaching vacancies that were filled in that time.

"It was always the Jaguars."

Here it comes.

If you have any vintage Jags gear, it’s hot stuff right now.

In related news, I got a Lawrence jersey for Christmas. It’s getting worn to the tittians game.
