Anyway, I wanna give props to Cleatwood and Eric who always believed.

2 more things

1.-Not sure we'd be seeing this Trevor with another HC, so [BLEEP] happy we have Doug.
2-I would not be surprised if they lose a game badly again, this is still a young team... but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if we end up winning the division. The D has some bad moments at times.

Agreed, young teams ride the roller coaster for a while but I really love Doug Pederson to lead and develop this group.

"Clearly Better Than the Alternatives"
When Dallas scored that TD to take the lead, I took the opportunity to run down to the restroom. While walking down the breezeway, overheard some fat [BLEEP] in a Cowboys jersey talking smack, "Yeah, I'm out! Cowboys got dis!! I'm headin' on down to enjoy my victory cigar!" Ugh!

Not sure I ever wanted us to win a game more in that moment. Enjoy your victory cigar, fatty!!!

Ok, no offense to fat people - I'm fat as hell too, but that dude was short and round, so tough [BLEEP].

He had 7 interceptions by week 3 in his rookie year, he now has only 7 in 14 games in 2022.
Rating in 2021: 71.9
Rating in 2022: 96.6
Cmp Pct in 2021: 59.6
Cmp Pct in 2022: 66.0

What the hell are you talking about, He has improved dramatically?

My points were never that he wouldn't be good, I again for the millionth time just pointed out his flaws which he has clearly gotten past at this point.

You didn't "see" anything coming, the guy busted his [BLEEP] and got better. And again, last time i'ma say this cause I told MarleyJag I'd stop responding to your childish crap.. no where, not once did I ever say Lawrence wouldn't be good. You're just trolling at this point.

LOL

Keep trying to defend your horrible takes.

You said he sucks repeatedly.  You said there was no reason for hope that he'd work out. You spouted post after post of hate for the kid in game thread after game thread, week after week.

Then - later when you weren't feeling quite as idiotic you'd post some backpedaling drivel to try and mitigate those stupid posts.

And yes, most humans who have watched a few generations of QBs come and go in the NFL did indeed see this coming from Trevor Lawrence.

You didn't see it.

You instead decided to plant a flag on a hill proclaiming a bunch of horse [BLEEP], and now, having been proven wrong, don't have enough sack to man up to it. Instead - you want to try and paint his recent consistency as something other than the normal way most young QBs who are worth a [BLEEP] acclimate to the NFL.

He's been making amazing throws since last year, he's simply doing it with more consistency now that he's in a worthwhile offensive system and has been in that system long enough to reach a comfort level that allows him to be relaxed and technically sound in the heat of a real game. This is incredibly normal. This is the process many, many QBs go through in the NFL. You simply lacked an understanding of that age old process and were too busy tripping over your own feet to bash the guy to hear any sound reasoning about what he was going through last year.

You behaved like an impatient, petulant child. At some point I'll stop giving you [BLEEP] about it. But you haven't endured anything from me compared to what you spammed this board with.

Yeah. Cowherd said it best today. He's a star. He's been playing like one. Nobody notices because of the market.

Well, they will now for a long time at this rate. Praying they thump the Jets on TNF. Would be a [BLEEP] chef's kiss moment if he scores 5 TD's while throwing 400 yards.

Yep.

There's bad takes and then theres....that
Can we ease up on the "small market" stuff? In 2022 the world is a lot smaller. When the team gets good and exciting the media will be riding our jock just like any other team. It's all about the talent, wins, and personalities on your team.

And don't forget, nedia has been ready to jump on the Jags bandwagon multiple times...and the team wee wee'd down their leg.

The media loves the scrappy underdog. And a successful “new elite franchise” story.

If Trevor makes this franchise a part of the current  consistent core, competitive franchises, look out.
Trevor Lawrence is going to become a household name, and so the Jaguars will get attention too.

Lol

I'm still waiting for someone to post where I said he wasn't ever going to be good. He struggled with certain aspects of his game, even mid way through this season.. he got better. Look at that twitter post shared above, his stats from the first half of the season to the second half show he's gotten better, not that he's been the same guy the entire way through.

I'm continously told "You were wrong, see he is good" But again, never said he can't be good just said he had issues within his game. His stats prove the point that he's gotten tremendously better and i'm happy about that, but to try and tell me i'm wrong about something I never said is just silly.

I'm not gonna harp on this conversation anymore because it just gets old. He had accuracy issues, decision making issues etc etc and he's went out and got better, in a big way. I'm elated over it because I am glad we can move on with a guy at QB. That's all i'ma say, if I did say he wouldnt be good or would be a bust (and I 100% didn't) then I was wrong.
lolololol you were so wrong dude, but that's fine.

Lololol I know right, completely was wrong remember that time when I never said he was a bust, or that time when I never said he wasn't talented or could be good? LOL

LOL I was so wrong in those imagined post that I never made, can't believe how stooopid I am!

I think some of you should scroll through JaguarMVPs post throughout the off season and you might find out you've mistaken me for that guy. He liked to basically say the same thing I did but then add in his own twist of saying he's a bust. I never did, I only pointed out issues related to accuracy/decision making.

Are you trying to tell me he didn't struggle with any of that for the first year and a half of his career? Are you trying to tell me that he's the same guy right now that he was in college/rookie season? Because in my eyes I see a guy who worked his [BLEEP] off and got better. What do you want me to do? Say I was wrong about his tendency to over throw open WRs? Because that was an issue for awhile.. Or that he didn't make head scratching decisions? (goal line ints earlier this year for the easiest example) ? because nothing I said was wrong. Did I have some reservations if he'd be able to overcome those issues? Sure as I do with any player who consistently makes the same errors. The point, and the only thing that matters is that he's seemingly fixed these problems and I couldn't be happier.

But i'm not going to pander to this message board and apologise for a correct point out of what was a glarring issue. And I still, haven't called him a bust or said he couldn't be good. So I'm definitely not going to apologise or admit being wrong on something I never said.

The best you'll get out of me is apologizing for overreacting during game day threads, which admitedly as a die hard fan I tend to do often.
Naw we all know jaguarLVP is arguably the biggest dumb [BLEEP] you'll ever see. You still had some awful takes regarding Trevor, but jagLVP takes the cake on awful takes. There's a reason why he's too scared to show face around here anymore.
