He's been making amazing throws since last year, he's simply doing it with more consistency now that he's in a worthwhile offensive system and has been in that system long enough to reach a comfort level that allows him to be relaxed and technically sound in the heat of a real game. This is incredibly normal. This is the process many, many QBs go through in the NFL. You simply lacked an understanding of that age old process and were too busy tripping over your own feet to bash the guy to hear any sound reasoning about what he was going through last year.

He's top 4, easy.
Mahomes, Josh Allen, Trevor Lawrence, Burrow
That's the top tier of QBs.
Everyone else, Jackson, Hebert, Tua, and the rest of em are a significant notch lower than Lawrence, Mahhomes, Allen, and Burrow.
He sure looks like a top 5 guy to me. Stats over the last month and a half support that as well. He is playing amazing but also has a few things he will improve on that will make him even better. Keep weapons around him for his career and we most likely have something really special.

Mahomes is on a different level than all other QBs. I don’t think anyone is particularly close to him (although a lot of people like Josh Allen).

Top be in the same tier as those two he's going to need an elite receiving talent. Allen has Diggs, Mahomes has Kelce, Trevor needs someone on that level to be playing at the level those two guys are considered to be playing at.
Trevor has already shown he's got the talent and intangibles, now with great talent around him he'd be able to have elite production, too.

I just watched his post game presser and it's so dang refreshing to hear a Jags QB speak as he does. Like, he's OUR quarterback!
The answers he gave were just thoughtful and intelligent and.... confident. I think that's the main thing. His confidence. Trevor has had to deal with a lot of crazy since becoming a Jaguar and he has handled it all with class. At least publicly he has and I appreciate that as much, if not more than his talent on the field. You can have all the talent in the world but if you're an [BLEEP] who treats people like crap, or has a nasty temper, or whatever, people aren't going to respect you and they dang well won't trust you.
He talked about how the adversity the team has faced this year has built trust among them and when he fumbled the ball the defense told him they had his back. (I didn't. I threw my tablet on my blanket and said something unintelligible- according to my husband. So good job defense!)
He said the season isn't over yet and if they face a similar situation again, being down in points, they know they can get through it because they've already been there with Baltimore and Dallas. They trust each other.

Go back to the Detroit Game, Lawrence got no 3 and outs, no Turnovers from Defense nothing. not even a punt. Give him more opportunities and he is one of the best right now. in a league of right now not have been Lawrence and #1 in almost all Passing Categories over the past 5 games.

I'm not a Cowerd apologist by any means, but he's always been a supporter of Lawrence and Pederson. He recognized the dysfunction pretty early on last year, and identified the source as Meyer and coaching. And he's buddies with Meyer. With him, it's more about having to take time talking about a small market team that most other cities don't care about. It's all about losing viewers of the show to him. If we become a Cinderella story over these last 3 games, then he'll change his mindset because more people will tune in to hear our story.
Well, I couldn't watch the whole game but I did watch the OT and some of the 4th quarter.
I admit I was wrong doubting that Trevor would improving much after the first few weeks. Clearly he is now (and in the last few weeks) playing at a very high level. I'd add more but some people are gonna come with some bs and I don't feel like arguing.
Anyway, I wanna give props to Cleatwood and Eric who always believed.

1.-Not sure we'd be seeing this Trevor with another HC, so [BLEEP] happy we have Doug.
2-I would not be surprised if they lose a game badly again, this is still a young team... but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if we end up winning the division. The D has some bad moments at times.
