I don’t think he’s faced particularly challenging defense yet , the Texans have a tougher schedule to close out.
He might fizzle this year, but next year with some more weapons he’s going to challenge us for the division for sure
But hoping it’s more of a chargers challenging the chiefs for the division

Stroud is a good prospect. I'm still not too worried about it, though. Other than the fact that the damn tin horns seem to always have our number...
But you gotta give Stroud major respect for his play today. I was doing paper work and had the Bucs/Texans game on in the back ground, and the dude can sling it. But, let's not pretend like the Bucs defense is something special. That defense is garbage, I mean, dang...
With that said, the Houston road trip later on this season is looming HUGE.

Stroud looks great and I think once again the Texans will probably not want to trade him for anyone in the league not named Patrick Mahomes.
He’s had a historic start to his rookie career. Really impressive. Damn I wish Carolina drafted him and not Trae Young
i am confident that Trevor could put up similar numbers if we had to. Thing is, he doesn't. He has a good run game. He has a good defense. He pretty much never has to play from behind. I don't think you are gonna see him put up astronomical numbers as long as the whole team continues to perform. It is just not Doug's style to get into shootouts.

When the Jaguars have needed to score we've been able to score. Trevor is playing great, overall. Unfortunately the rest of the offense often lets him down (turnovers and horrible blocking), so we're not putting up massive numbers.
