He was carrierd there just like how Peyton Manning was carriered on both of his SB...

Not sayin Manning wasnt better but Goff sucked that SB so bad!

Well i'd hope not, Peyton was elite in every sense of the word and that statement would be stupid

*In the regular season.

Really? He took the rams to a Superbowl. They lost but he got there.

Really? He couldn't do crap once the speaker in his helmet went silent.

Pey Pey was FAR from elite in his SB appearances.
Manning in his last SB wasn't any better than Goff in his worse days, both were terrible. If I remember correctly Big Ben was also awful in his first SB.

Goff has a lot of talent but had some bad seasons.

Time for the rest of the offense to get their [BLEEP] together and help their QB

Can you imagine where he would be on that list if our line only was 15% more productive?

We would be 3-0

He's definitely doing some good things but overall body of work is pretty mid. Remember, if we are to take this QB as a top tier, elite level QB this is the standard I am grading off of. He is not playing well if you consider him a top 5 QB in this league, he just isn't.

Really, can I see your film break down.

Here is one showing he played well against the Texans

The O-Line for the most part looks decent in this video.  Scherff (68) has a couple plays where I just don't know what he's doing.  But there are also a few plays where he did well.  He's old.  I think he needs to be replaced.

There were several plays where Lawrence had time but is deciding early where he's throwing the ball.  Last year, he'd let the play develop a bit more and made the right read.  In this game, he makes the throw to whoever the first read is.  That's not how he played last year...  It's just not.

For whatever reason, Lawrence is looking to get the ball out before 2 second.  And he's doing that while the O-Line for the most part is doing it's job and he could go to his 2nd read....  With that said, most of the time, the thow he made was there and he was let down.  Or the first read was not near the 1st down marker and so we failed.  But Lawrence delivered the ball where it needed to be and he did it accurately.

Was Lawrence throwing fast because he doesn't trust the O-Line?  Was the play calling trash and didn't give anyone the ability to be successful?  Is the O-Line not good enough?  Are our receivers letting us down?

Yes.

At this point, I just don't know if we are a playoff team.  ETN is good.  That's about it...  I think Tank Bigsby got a raw deal because of his Week 1 mistakes.  But he seems legit.  We paid Engram, and he's always running routes that are open, but we just refuse to throw his way - UNLESS IT'S A BUBBLE SCREEN.  Instead of getting Engram into space like we did last year, we make sure he has to go through a wash of defenders at the LOS and hope he can muscle through.  We never did that with Engram last year.  Engram is a route runner and great open field player.  But we don't target him that way so far this year.

Kirk is targeted sporadically because we've been focusing on Ridley.  And Jones is hurt.  So why not give more targets to our fumble proned kick receiver?

You can't blame any of the issues this team is going through on Trevor Lawrence.  The dude is on the money.  He's got a great arm.  And he does what the coaches are asking him to do.  The problem is that the WRs are letting him down. It seems Trevor doesn't trust his time behind this O-Line. The coaches are putting players in the wrong positions.  And we're not giving the ball to the players that deserve the ball.

At this point we're a 1-2 team.  But we have a QB that deserves a lot better than what he's been given so far.  It's not the QBs fault that we are failing.  That's for sure.
TL;DR please.

We're totally screwed unless Trevor Lawrence can save us.

Well, duh!  He's throwing the ball too hard and too spirally.

Really a shame to see. Lawrence will keep us hopeful for the next decade, just wish the rest of the entire team outside of ETN and Engram wasn't so pathetically forgettable.
Need an interior line overhaul and another set of rushers. They still have time this year to sort things out.

Fixing one of those two things will go a long way but I lean towards keeping Lawrence clean and upright 90% of the time if possible.

They need to invest and commit early. Double down on offensive lineman early. Unless a prospect like Bowers is on the board. You take him of course.

I would tank for Bowers.

Maybe we can hire Blake Bortles to teach Trevor the proper way to wobble a duck...  Eh, whom I kidding, the BOAT is pulling heaters and having the time of his life.  There's no way we could coax him out of retirement.

The real question is: Is the BOAT getting out of bed at 9:30 AM tomorrow to watch his former team or (more likely) will he just be getting to bed?

And? Dan Marino got molly whopped by us in his final game in the playoffs 62-7 lol. We benched Brunnel BEFORE halftime in a PLAYOFF GAME.

I don't think Dan nor Peyton lose their top 5 QB of all time status based on the final year of their careers being lack luster.

Dan Marino was beat up and broken by that game. He was checked out.

Bless Dan Marino.
Trevor outplayed Desmond Ridder which is why we won. One qb made the very costly mistakes, the other took what the defense gave him.

In other news, water is wet.
