...and Trevor to IR. Hopefully he finishes the season there, absolutely no reason to endure further injury for this wet fart of a season.
Well Trent, you've done it again!

You have a franchise QB and you watch the O-Line do what it has done for 2 years. And the only move we really made was to slightly upgrade our Center. A Baalke master class.
With that said, I'm just really sad about how we've basically ruined a QB that had all the potential in the world. I just don't see this thing ever turning around anymore. I'm beginning to understand why Snowie is so pessimistic. There's no hope here.
Hope comes here to die. No GM is coming here to save us. No HC is going to look at this other than their last big paycheck. We're a joke of a franchise. Nobody comes here to work. They come to collect checks and then leave after making 10s of millions of dollars with minimal work for 4 years.
What more can be said? I'll figure it out. But at this point I'm just sad for Lawrence.
He deserved better than what this franchise provided him.
Trevors season, and career is over. the texan player did exactly what he wanted to do. he ended Trevors NFL career. the worst thing about it is hes probbley gonna get away with it. Will probably win his appeal, and not even get suspended nor fined.

Step away from the wacky tobaccy Wolf. Trevor will be back.
Makes it easy to find something else to do on sundays, zero reason to even care anymore we’re officially in the offseason mode.

He'll be back, but this is his 2nd concussion within 12 months... His career may legitimately be shortened because of what happened on Sunday.
The only other starting QB in the NFL that I've seen in the fencing position is Tua. And everyone is already on watch for his career to be over sooner than later because of concern for his long term health. I now have that same feeling for Trevor. I mean, how can you not?
That's the thing that really makes me mad about what happened on Sunday and the lack of anger from our HC when addressing the situation.
Why are people on here so desperate to finish Trevors career for him?
Wolfie on full sugar soft drink again
This guy used his arm fortified with a brace as a weapon. He has absolutely no remorse at all, and neither does any of the Texan management. They are actively enabling this behavior and will eventually have to answer for this. They should disallow the brace as he uses it as a weapon. The three games should be a minimum. Personally, I believe he just cannot control himself mentally in the heat of the game and makes aggressively bad decisions. That is the reason I felt he should have been placed of the commissioner's exempt list until this can be resolved.
The Texan's next opponents are Miami (Tua), Kansas City (Mahomes) and Ravens (Jackson). They going to let this guy play and he takes out another one ? I know everyone say oh that won't happen, but do you want to take the risk? Better yet do the players, coaches and owners want to take that risk? Just my thoughts...
This is going to be just like Andrew Luck and it’s really sad.
The Jags have botched landing Trevor Lawrence in historical fashion.
Kept Baalke. Hired Urban. Kept Baalke again. Failed to get a good OL to protect Trevor. Failed to really upgrade the WR position for a while. Failed at implementing an offense that best suits his skill set. Continues to employ a fossil HC with an archaic scheme. Failed to build a defense that may actually help. Failed at creating a running game.
It’s one of the biggest failures for a franchise that I can remember.
And after all that, I’ll be sucked back in come July with Liam Coen at HC and Cunningham as GM.

He should be suspended until Trevor plays again.
To stop players like this from being employed, Texans should have to pay Trevor’s salary until he plays again. Texans should also have to cover the additional cap space in the following year. So if Trevor had a $1 million per game cap hit and was games, next year the Texans have $10 million lower cap limit.
That would force teams to care and put a stop to it or cut the player.

I don't want Trevors career to be over, but that dirty hit was so bad not even the toughest NFL player ever could come back from that type of injury were they are knocked out cold. Tua came back from a concession yes,but he wasn't knocked out cold.

Tua's hits were worse. Trevor will be fine. If Khan has any sense, he moves on from Baalke and Pederson and he employs forward thinkers that are in lockstep when it comes to elevating Trevor's skillset and leadership by providing him with a system and personnel group that gets the job done.
The AFC South is still very much there for the taking. The tinhorns are pretenders. The tacks and clots are still in limbo hell as well. We can turn it around still.

Because then the question of him being a bust can never be answered. They are playing for the internet win.
It’s the only win you can get as a Jags fan, to be fair, so some sympathy is due.

Go back and see the hits that Flacco, Bridgewater, Tua, countless WR/RB all took, and then let me know which ones did not come back and play.

Add Doug to that. The only other young QB he has "mentored" was Carson Wentz. How did that turn out?
