Let Trevor sit this week so the doubters can see how bad throngs could really be

I sadly fear it would then be 'Mac Jones doesn't have an Oline' and 'If the WR's didn't make mistakes'

No way would Jones get the Trevor treatment.
Trevor just might be sitting this week,i think he is injured, why else would jags sign cj back to 53 man roster.

I mean, that's the excuses so far so why not valid for Mac?

Besides, the only real danger here is that Mac plays well...

First, we signed him to the roster because we can't sign someone from another PS to our PS based on the rules

Second, we didn't want to run the risk of resurrecting the Nathan Rourke truthers by signing someone off the street to our PS

Third, better to be safe than sorry. If TLaw is sore, that's one thing. If he aggravates the injury during the game, you got to have something available in case Mac comes in and gets smacked into next week. Unless this is severe, I fully expect Trevor to start at the very least.

What was it Vic used to say?

I wouldn't worry about that.
Trevor needs surgery?

That's the rumor I just heard on the radio. Nice...

Pissing away two years now of his development due to injuries.

If true now there's really no reason to watch anymore

They said surgery is maybe on the table down the road but he more than likely sits against the Vikings.

Shut him down for the rest of the season.

Come back with a real coaching staff and GM.

And tell Mac just to throw to BTJ.

This may be the worst Jags season I can remember when you factor in the expectations. Truly horrific stuff.

Ugh, what a way to start the day...
Honestly surgery and shutting him down for the year and then coming back next year with a real staff might be the best thing for him. Non throwing shoulder so it shouldn’t have much if any long term issues and he gets out of this piss poor situation that’s just making him worse
Who gets the start? Mac?

If your a true fan of the team than regardless of a player it shouldn't be a factor of watching it or not.... unless your a player fan and thats fine too I guess.

There's more to a football game then QB play.
God truly hates this franchise

If god did exist he wouldn't care about a football team let alone about a team located in Jacksonville. Just saying.

He needs to play. Him and BTJ need to be on the field, connecting fully and being on the same page. That is what a combo like Burrow and Chase have. Chase took a whole year off playing football and came into the league and lit it up with Burrow. The most important reps come now, in the games, not in practice where they half [BLEEP] it and don't even make contact. They need to be on the field getting this right.

Now, if he has a true torn shoulder, you shut him down. Let's be honest though, there wouldn't even be a decision in the "options", because that would have already happened if his shoulder was torn. If the argument is to shut him down because it's a lost season and he has a sore shoulder.. no, he needs to play. Get reps with Parker, BTJ, and Strange.

He doesn't need to play.

The season is over. This staff and GM fumbled this season in a way I didn't think could be done. Another 2nd round pick not contributing. Armstead not having a position. The Taylor/Pederson play calling fiasco. The horrific scripted 15 plays every game. Bad late game situational awareness. Poor game planning. Poor roster construction.

Trevor will be here next year but Pederson and Baalke won't be. Do the surgery and shut it down and move on to next season.
