Has there been any other information on his injury other than a shoulder injury? Doug keeps saying he doesn't need surgery and it's a pain tolerance issue so I'm not sure how serious it is.

If Lawrence is out again, part of me expects Baalke to go sign Daniel Jones who just cleared waivers.

Jay Gruden said it first.  Then Rappaport (sp?) shot it down, saying no surgery was scheduled.  But then Rappaport said it was a "significant" injury about a week later.  This was in the first week of November...  And for the last 3 weeks he hasn't played.  Did Doug say that Trevor is playing this week?  Let me know if he did.  Cuz I must have missed that.

When you look at the reporting and the facts, it's pretty obvious his left AC is not hurt.  It's injured.  There is a difference from being sore or not right, or strained, compared to injured and needs surgery.  So, let's throw him out there right?  He needs to play, right?  Because these next 6 games are super important!  We must see how Trevor Lawrence can play with an injury that has taken a month to deal with and is still not being reported as being healed.  Doug has said they made "internal changes".  Doug has not stated anything factual.  So all we have is analysis.  

Based on this lack of Doug being an honest/transparent HC, we need to assume what?  That Trevor is ready to play?  Because we need to throw our QB into a messed up situation with a incompetent HC to ensure that he he can overcome all odds on a team that has no defense?  All while he has to sit in the pocket against defenses that will be trying to knock his [BLEEP] out?  Under a OC and HC that have no idea how to protect him from further injury?  Historically speaking this is 2 years out of 3 that Trevor Lawrence has been significantly injured under Pederson coaching.  So we should assume Trevor is gonna be just fine after the next 6 games based on the last 2 years???  Oh yeah, that's a great strategy.  /s

But the injury is on his non-throwing arm, right?  Therefore let's throw him to the wolves on a lame duck team with with a lame duck HC and a lame duck GM all while knowing he's gonna get surgery on a significant AC injury on his left shoulder?

Seems like a good idea...  Shut him down.  Get him healthy as soon as possible.  That's what a real franchise would do.

On the flip side.  If I'm wrong, and Doug and Trevor run off 6 straight wins, then I'll concede that I'm totally wrong and praise your foresight.

There are QBs in this league that can't even hold a candle to what Trevor Lawrence does when he's got protection and good WRs, and good play routes/calling. I'm so sick and tired of having to listen to the national media praise QBs that are so far worse than Lawrence. We're wasting a generational talent, and it's really depressing at this point.

Nah if he’s healthy enough to play he plays. Give me a reason to watch the rest of the season.

If Trevor was seriously injured I'm sure Doug would put him on IR and use that as an excuse.

Do you think that coaches are honest?  LOL.  We live in a world where lies of omission are not considered lies, in reality, they are still lies because they are being deceptive...  Just look at what Bill Belichick did.  He never "lied", but he never told the truth, because he constantly didn't provide the entire truth.  Doug, unfortunately isn't as good at the deception, and even reporters here in Jacksonville are smelling his bull dung.

Besides being a die hard Jaguars fan, there is no reason to watch the rest of the season.  I'll watch the rest of the season because that's what I do.  But I'd rather watch McCorkel or Bethard under center for the rest of this sacrifice to the football brotherhood.  I don't need to see anymore of Trevor Lawrence getting beat up under this pathetic coaching and Front Office.  

What's the point.  We're not going to catch the tin horns.  And we can't get a wild card spot.  So why keep letting our franchise QB continue to get beat up when he's clearly needing another surgery and rehab period?

You do know that players can miss a few games with injuries that don't require surgery or the IR, right? You do know that TLaw is back in the practice field this week, right? You do know that basic, regular occurrences like 3 week injuries aren't some devious and evil scheme perpetrated by the coach who you seem to think is all of lazy, dumb, and evil, right?  

Based on what we know he has a sprain to his left shoulder that doesn't need surgery. Players in the past who have this injury, like Baker Mayfield for instance, have put on the strap and played. Lawrence and the team felt he couldn't go the last few games and now he's exepcted back after some rest and rehab. It's not a [BLEEP] conspiracy.

Word is that he doesn't need surgery, though. Whether or not that is the case by the end of the season remains to be seen.

I don't think anyone in the building is dumb enough to risk career-altering injury to a guy you just signed to a megadeal over a few meaningless close losses (be honest with ourselves, here) if the question of surgery is when and not if.

If Trevor does play, I have a hunch that they do beat the Texans. Considering how bad they were against the Lions, it may seem crazy but I could see this happening.

Honestly, it just feels that Pedersen is obfuscating if Trevor is actually in line to start in some attempt to confuse the Texans but I don't think it is working.
