This story is even stranger in that the picture is supposedly from 2022. So who the guy in the picture and the one elected as senator?

I wasn't even really trying. I'm just tired of his schtick. He knows nothing but pretends he knows everything. As if reading about something makes you truly knowledgeable. Doctors don't know how to do their job until they actually start doing it. Book knowledge and real life knowledge are not the same thing.

Everything Mike 'knows' about this subject is definitely not from real life, or on-the-job knowledge.

Just gotta learn to laugh at him.. I had to..

On a good topic day, that fool can provide me with a months worth of material lolol

So, with your greatly increased knowledge of how hormones work in women around age 50, what did I say about treatments for people under 18 that was incorrect?

Just because she's mad doesn't mean she's right.

Lol. You are so delusional. For everything you change in the human body there is a reaction. I'll make it super simple for you....

Everyone has estrogen and testosterone but men and women have different levels of each according to their biological make-up. Testosterone for men and estrogen for women. It's pretty simple.

Adding hormones to a male body that is not biologically engineered to receive those extra hormones is going to do damage to the body and the mind. Same for doing it to the female body.

Restricting hormones from either sex when their bodies supposed to have them, we're talking puberty, does damage to the body and the mind.

When men and women's bodies start decreasing in those hormones later in life it does damage to the body and mind. For men it's andropause, for women it's menopause. Thankfully there are ways to help ease this natural transition by using HRT to keep things from going off the rails. Unless you're like me and there's a perfect storm of three hormone related issues going on at once, but I digress.

Hormones in all their forms drive everything in the human body. To artificially alter any of it is detrimental. It can cause anything from depression to digestion issues to joint pain. That's the extremely short list.

Our bodies are constantly changing from birth to death and what feels weird at age 12 is going to feel different at ages 15, 18, 30 and so on.

I could go on about how medications given to kids, specifically meds for ADD/ADHD, and all the processed food kids eat actually alters their hormones and is probably what has led to this explosion in numbers of them being confused about who they are, but I have better ways to spend the rest of my Saturday.

You go ahead and wallow in your willful ignorance though. It seems to be your happy place.

Thank you for that wealth of knowledge, all of which I already had.  Maybe it's new for WingerDinger, I couldn't say.  But I hope typing all that out made you feel better.

I am aware that it's not always possible to shape hormones the way we like.  You are one example.  We used to do hormone therapies on known pedophiles, to shut down their sex drives. That didn't work either.

I'm also aware that everyone always has hormones all the time, even babies, and everything going on in your brain is shaped by hormones, such that blocking certain humans can actually hinder certain seemingly unrelated brain functions, make you a vegetable temporarily even.

But puberty blockers are very well studied, and the correct dosages are well known, and all effects are reversible.  That's the part you, with your personal experience, don't know.  You haven't experienced it, and you won't.  I won't either.  We both have to trust docs on this one.

I can't believe those idiots think we actually buy this [BLEEP] hahahahaha

And to be honest, I think a DNA swab is going to be needed if Fetterman 2.0 begins his office term..

The article mentions nothing of BLM or more black voices. The kid is a known motor mouth who has had issues with other teachers. This teacher went too far, but as the article spells out, it was nothing more than a misguided attempt to silence an 11-year-old who has a history of disrupting classes.

I guess sending disruptive students to the principals office is no longer a thing?

When I was in grade school I was sent to the principal's office because I was chewing gum. I got the paddle. My mom was pissed. Not because they disciplined me but because they didn't talk to her first and then punish me. Lol. She didn't mind if I was disciplined but she wanted to know ahead of time what it was for and what the punishment would be. If the punishment was greater than the crime she was going to have a problem with those folks and they didn't want that on their plate.

When paddling wasn't enough for our Principal, he made us go out and pull weeds around campus lolol
In the 9th grade I sprinted through the crowded hallways like a madman at the dismissal bell getting to the Principal’s office in order to get two swats before my bus left. Breathless, I explained what I was there for. He told me to grab the edge of the desk and then proceeded to administer the punishment with vigor. I thanked him on the way out the door and then sprinted outside to catch the bus with my [BLEEP] on fire.

I guess you were afraid of more swats in the morning if the teacher found out you hadn't gone.
Every year of elementary and middle school, they told us the story of the principal paddling kids who were sent his way, and I was sent that direction more than a few times myself.  But I was never paddled and I never heard any other kid speak of being paddled.  The punishments for us were detention, in school suspension, and out of school suspension.  And I got more than enough of all of them.  Sometimes they would just hold you in the principal or vice principal's office for an hour, then they would send you back to class.  My parents said they wouldn't have minded me being paddled, that it might do some good. My parents got me good more than once, but Duval County schools never did.
I remember once during lunch, one of the kids at the lunch table stood up, turned around and kinda 'half way' dropped his jeans and his backside was all black and blue.. He said it was from the paddle the previous day..

Gotta look back at it now and think 'abuse'..
