Over in East Orlando we have the practice facilities for both WWE and AEW. You could stop by and complete your education.
I try really hard to approach you here without insults. I've probably failed at that at times. I do incorporate humor and memes frequently and although they are used to poke fun at a comment or situation, I don't consider them the same as directly calling someone idiot or moron or what have you. I get the feeling from how you engage me that you don't like me. I don't overly care if someone on here dislikes me or not, but if I've made a direct insult to you previously or something that you perceive as a direct insult that you are harboring feelings about, I apologize. I'll do better. I know you get a lot of them from other parties on here. You are awfully quick to dole them out as well though as evidenced above. What's the point in even engaging me here if that's the inevitable end result?
Do you not see your response to Actual words vs Inferred being "well 2500 people agree with me on the inference" as being absolutely irrelevant and ridiculous? I never said you were the only one who believes the inference, but YOU engaged me on this topic remember? And then when your "logic" fell apart you reverted to an insult. In the context of this discussion, that's garbage. If you're harboring feelings from another comment I made in another discussion, please DM me or air it here if you prefer.
I didn't bring up the number 2500 simply because it's a high number.
I didn't bring up that number as if it's enough people to show that my skills of inferring things are good.
I brought it up because it is a number of people who broke into the seat of our government, tried to harm our government officials, and who started doing these things when Trump said to start, and stopped doing these things when Trump said to stop.
Trump incited violence on January 6th. People keep refusing to accept those very simple six words.
They keep saying things like it wasn't that violent, it wasn't that serious, Trump didn't mean it.
None of these excuses are valid, but they are also besides the point.
The point is, regardless of what Trump intended for his followers to do after they got to the Capitol in January 6th, they understood him to be telling them to be violent. Even if we take the most charitable and innocent view of Donald Trump's actions possible, it comes down to people who listen to his speech and who read his tweets misunderstanding his meaning.
After Saturday, Biden has said both publicly and privately that he should avoid using terms like bullseye or target when talking about Trump. And rightly so. People like you demanded it, people like me demanded it, and he did so.
Yet Trump hasn't apologized for even one word that came out of his mouth or out of his smartphone on January 6th. Instead he has called the people who were violent that day who have been convicted of being violent, heroes. He has them sitting as delegates in the Republican national convention.
Are you starting to see the asymmetry? The one way ratcheting of it all?
Would you apologize if people misunderstood you in a way that created a violent riot? I would. Maybe you wouldn't.
Maybe Biden shouldn't have apologized.
