You'd think every single leaf makes it to her yard by the way she goes on about it. She'll rake leaves from her yard into the yard of my next door neighbor and start burning them then just walk away. She'll rake and burn leaves in the neighbor's yard on the other side of my next door neighbor. I told her if she comes in my yard the leaves will be the least of her concern.

I told her she could invest in a chain link fence and her problem would be solved. She said if we would all cut down our trees everyone's problem would be solved. I had to tell her she's the only one who has OCD about leaves.

People are dumb. And I also would never live in an HOA neighborhood. We have a lot of them here thanks to our golf communities and rich retirees from up north. There are two of them within two miles of us. They're nice for sure but I'm not going to pay someone to tell me how long my grass can be or where I can set up my grill.

Cut them trees down dammit!! lolol

We're having an issue with a neighbor lady as well.. She has two huge half-dead Live Oaks hanging over our backyard fence (The trees themselves are pretty much considered Widow Makers). Once in a while, one of the branches will come crashing down and take out another board to my fence. Well, having a German Shepherd, I have to keep the fence well maintained, for my pup's safety and my neighbors. So I have to periodically go out and mend the fence with a new flat or panel..

A couple of days ago, another branch fell and totally crunched the new panel I just put in a few months ago. My wife got pissed and stormed over to her house and they got into a verbal throwdown on the lady's front porch. I could hear the pissin match from my living room lol

She called my wife a B**** Midget (my wife is 4'10 lol)
And my wife kept calling her an old ugly C word lolol

She said that she didn't have the money to have the trees taken down because of her older kids are back living at home and her last electric bill was over $900 lol

My wife told her that was her problem and part of being a homeowner is maintenence. After that followed a few more swear words and later, a few glasses of red lol
You need to protect yourself as it will force her insurance to pay for everything, if they don't drop her.

Pay to have someone certified inspect the tree. Check your laws, you may need to work with the city or could do it yourself depending if they can view the tree. Most states say it's where the tree lands that has to pay for it. The one disclaimer is if they knew/should have known the tree was dead. So if you can get a report saying it is dead and needs to come down, they will then be at fault for everything that falls on your property.

Otherwise, you can legally cut any limbs on your property.

Another leftist policy destroying the fabric of civility. It’s almost like they want this.

I want to put up an entirely new fence around my backyard, but refuse to until both trees are down.

It's crazy that my 15 year old nephew accidentally ran off his bus and right into a school teacher and was ejected from school and can never go back. He was reacting to a stupid social media post from a guy who had been bullying the [BLEEP] out of him and the principal, vice principal and school counselor knew about it. My sister had talked to them several times and no one did a damn thing. He also has a court date for "assault" on the teacher. He ran off the bus and she jumped in front of him and he's to blame?! There is video evidence that is not super clear (like they need it in 4K HD) but my sister said you can tell what is going on. As soon as my nephew realized he ran into the lady he stepped back and apologized. She filed charges and is making an example out of him.

That the bullying was never addressed and those guys never punished makes my blood boil even more.

A friend of mine here graduated and taught elementary school for three years before she decided she was done. When she had her baby she and her husband agreed she would be a SAHM. The behavior of those kids, elementary school kids, was appalling. Their language and their attitude towards each other was bad enough but especially so towards the teachers.

Sounds like someone needs a visit from Auntie 'Mericus. When we decide we aren't taking this [BLEEP] anymore they are going to be in a world of hurt.

I told my sister it's probably a very good thing I don't live down there anymore. I'd have a very hard time not getting involved. She actually did a no-no. They were at his first court date and someone, maybe the DA, said something to the judge that my sister didn't agree with and she stood up and said, "that's a lie!" The judge was not happy and he told her if she spoke again she'd be in contempt of court. I was like, "girl don't you know you keep your mouth shut when you're in court no matter what you hear? Don't you watch TV?!" Lol.

Yeah, there is coming a day when things aren't going to work out for these crazy folks.
This dude can go [BLEEP] himself to the highest mountain in the land of Go [BLEEP] Yourselfville.. And when he gets there, he can go [BLEEP] himself again!!

I remember when press conferences with the president used to be about random reporters being called and answering a question they didn’t see coming.

Fast forward to today…where Biden says he’s going to take a random question…looks at his notes to see who to call on, gets read the question, and then reads the answer word for word from notes.

Just when I think it can’t get any more painful with Biden, it does.
Hmmm...

Elon Musk's Starlink is booming, with traffic almost tripling this year

...Starlink use has soared this year, according to new data — even as SpaceX's satellite network has been at the center of several major Elon Musk controversies.

Global internet traffic from Starlink nearly tripled in 2023 according to data from IT security firm Cloudflare, as the internet service, which provides high-speed web access through a network of low-orbit satellites, expanded to a host of new countries.

In the US, Starlink traffic was up by two and a half times this year. Traffic from Brazil, where the satellite internet provider launched last year, was 17 times greater than in 2022, according to Cloudflare's data...

US agency will not reinstate $900 million subsidy for SpaceX Starlink unit

...The U.S. Federal Communications Commission on Tuesday reaffirmed its 2022 decision to deny SpaceX satellite internet unit Starlink $885.5 million in rural broadband subsidies.

The FCC said the decision impacting Elon Musk's space company was based on Starlink's failure to meet basic program requirements and that Starlink could not demonstrate it could deliver promised service after SpaceX had challeged the 2022 decision.

"The FCC followed a careful legal, technical and policy review to determine that this applicant had failed to meet its burden," FCC Chair Jessica Rosenworcel said.

The FCC cited among its reasons SpaceX's failure to successfully launch its Starship rocket, saying "the uncertain nature of Starship's future launches could impact Starlink's ability to meet" its obligations...

...The two Republican commissioners on the five-member FCC dissented from the decision saying the FCC was improperly holding SpaceX to 2025 targets three years early and suggesting the Biden administration's anger toward Musk was to blame.

FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr said the commission was joining "the growing list of administrative agencies that are taking action against Elon Musk’s businesses" and said the decision "certainly fits the Biden Administration’s pattern of regulatory harassment."...

Crackhead told the press that Republicans have impugned his character.

Of course, the obvious follow-on question would have been “Wait. You have character?”
Jim Crow is alive and well in Boston.

Well, shooting seems a little excessive, not to mention a waste of good ammo.  A simple lesson in physics should do the trick.  Kids, here's what happens when 150 lbs. of stupidity steps in front of 3,000 lbs. of moving car and the driver does NOT apply the brakes.

From the article:
“Your email should not offend anyone and there is absolutely no confusion,” Fernandes Anderson wrote. “Just like there are groups that meet based on shared interests or cultural backgrounds, it’s completely natural for elected officials of color to gather for a holiday celebration.”

Completely natural, lol. Just like it was completely natural for KKK members to congregate and discuss racial misegenation. This is the new KKK, without the cross burnings and hangings. This is how it starts.

Well, my way is more humane.. Although your way is more satisfying. We need to come to a compromise. How about a law that let's us shoot em first, then run them over?
