I don't agree with what Twitter is trying to do to the Babylon Bee.  However, as a private company, they are free to create and enforce standards of speech that are stricter than what the government would enforce.  The government only has cause to ban child pornography, calls for violence, or misinformation about how and where to vote, and similar, very serious things.  As long as Twitter enforces that minimum, there is no cause for the government to get involved in how Twitter moderates content.  Especially not jokes.

Seems like Twitter and other media platforms that limit communication capabilities, plus the ever-shortening attention span of people worldwide are a couple of the main reasons for this.  Arguments are stuffed into a 140 characters line or a 5-10 second sound bite.  It's hard to reach mutual understanding that way, if there even can be any.

What's to mutually understand in this case?  I paid, they didn't.  And part of my tax dollar helped pay for thier bailout.  IMO, I got robbed.  Maybe you like bending over and personally taking it up the pipe from your government, but I'm not a fan of it.
