Side note-

That is really poor video and doesn't necessarily show that. I see a cop motioning to someone off screen once the crowd is pouring through the barriers and he could very well be motioning to other police officers to fall back to the next phase line closer to the building. The next several seconds of that video would be nice to have since what we see there is entirely inconclusive.

I think the first several seconds would also be helpful. I hate building an entire narrative off selective editing.

Sure you can, I gave you the exact reason why a cop would do what that guy did. This could easily be framed to fool people into thinking what you think.

Also agreed, who moved the barricade? If it was the crowd then the cops are in full retreat from a hostile surging mob. If it's the cops then we have a story. What we don't have is proof of either from this clip.
