Well with the nomination over I switched my party back to libertarian this morning. Feel a little less dirty getting that Republican mess of my voter ID

I'm a pale white girl with naturally curly hair, very tall and was very skinny. I was teased for my hair, for being taller than every other girl (with the exception of one other), for being very skinny (like almost anorexic looking except I ate everything I could get my hands on). For having freckles. For being not just white, but pale white. The girls were worse than the boys but both were brutal. I was even bullied by the mom of my cousin's future wife. She would tell me thin was attractive but skinny wasn't and that I was skinny which meant I was ugly. I was a kid hearing that crap.

I don't condone bullying but nobody is special because someone talked [BLEEP] about or to them for any reason.

My liberal neighbor is a half-white, half-Indian lady. She looks white as can be (maybe her nose is a little round, but that's not telling). Even if she spends all summer at the pool, I get darker than her. She often laments how hard it was for her growing up. She worries about her quarter-Indian kids being picked on because we haven't ended racism in America. I just don't get what happened to the left. I mean, I get it... I just can't understand how people are shifted so easily.

People started telling others what's wrong with them and it's been magnified by the social media, media and special interest groups. Think about it. As kids we don't know how to be racist or see anything different about others than what we actually see. Example, my mom grew up on a cattle ranch in CO in a very small, all-white town. K-12 was in one school with her graduating class being 9 kids. Four boys and five girls. The first time she saw a black cowboy she thought it was different because she had only ever seen white cowboys, but that was it. It was just different. It wasn't until years later after she graduated college and she/we moved to FL that she was told that not being white was a problem and she struggled with being surrounded by people who had this mindset and she still does.

Your neighbor hears all the crazy and never wonders if her kids have actually been picked on. She just assumes they will be because someone told her so.

It's no different with politics. Both sides are going to use what they have to in order to get us to vote for them, to include what's "wrong" with us and point to the other side as the culprits of our misery. Your neighbor being an example. Divide and conquer. Thankfully I don't look to others for validation for any damn thing but I am getting tired of being told what I am supposed to accept. That's not the way to get someone like me to see a different perspective.
Somethin' big fixin to go down..

"Active and retired law enforcement and military, veterans, elected officials, business owners, ranchers, truckers, bikers, media, and law-abiding, freedom-loving Americans" are invited to participate in three rallies across three states as part of the Take Back Our Border Convoy.

The rallies will be held in Eagle Pass, Texas, Yuma, Arizona, and San Ysidro, California, on Feb. 3."

Just remember, these are the sacrificial lambs used to clutter the news cycle and keep people from seeing the real villians in the government. Small potatoes they can afford to lose to keep everyone distracted from the Fat Cats.

Yeah I get that, and still agree with it up to a point..

This type of news used to be very easily buried, even today by MSM simply by just not reporting on it..

But once them interwebs got ya, there's no escaping it.. The internets are forever..

Gotta love that Information Age..

Boeing has nothing to do with it. That’s a maintenance issue.

Yep it is the maintenance that has been lacking for years finally catching up. They have cutback on maintenance crews so much that airports don't even have someone there to sign the log book and replace a simple part. Most of the time they don't have parts either. They have centralized maintenance to the hubs and then contract so someone will be there in a few hours.

I've flown to smaller airports where they had to fly a person in with a part in order for the plane to be able to leave. Plus when you're flying on the smaller commuter jets, those things have stuff breaking all the time.

Texas is basically saying to the feds.......... UP YOURS PAL!!!!!!!!!!
It's a very dangerous game to get law enforcement officers accustomed to disobeying orders from federal judges.
This is wild. Some guy in the UK is having fun playing a piano in what looks to be a mall and some Chinese people carrying CCP flags approach him and tell him no one is allowed to record them, even though they're in public. Had they walked by no one would have given them a second thought, but instead, they chose to initiate the conflict. Crazy stuff.

It all starts at the 9:14 mark.

Why? The feds ignore the laws and court orders.

The US constitution says the government will protect every state from invasion. If they aren't doing that, then Texas has every right to do whatever they need to stop the invasion. You could even argue the federal government is committing treason against the state of Texas and any agents enabling the invasion could be convicted.

This is still for show as the state turns them over to the feds, no one is being deported.

What this decision does though is set the precedent for when Trump wins and starts the round up. Any liberal city that tries anything immediately gets shut down. They can't fight it since the feds have full control and the states have none.

Yeah, that doesn't make a darn bit of sense. Unless the CCP is poking around seeing what they can get away with.

That was my impression. It's some kind of check as if they're probing public and police response.

I can't see the response from an American being so polite and patient as the gentleman in this video. About 30 seconds into it they would be given a boisterous goodbye.

No clue what they are doing but the person has been identified supposedly.

There are/were actual police stations in the US that they were running to, I guess, track down people they were looking for or whatever else. Not sure if all of them got shut down or not.
