I thought about that today while remembering the great sacrifice that many of our soldiers made on this day 80 years ago.

Back then young boys in their teens were lying about their age in order to join the military and fight for our country.  Sadly we lost many of them 80 years ago today.

Today young boys in their 20's and sometimes even in their 30's still live with mommy and daddy wanting their country to pay for THEIR student loans.

Back then, young ladies took the challenge to go to work in the factories to aid the war effort (Rosie the Riveter).

Today many of the young "ladies" are more interested in becoming the latest social media "influencer".  The only "tools" that they can operate are an I-phone and the next young boy that they meet.

Our country was once truly great, not so much now unfortunately.
