I'm not going to say he was corrupted, but I am going to say he had too much power, or imagined he had too much power.  In the rush to prevent death I can forgive him and his people for making some recommendations that turned out to be bad ideas.  I forgive him because none of us knew how to react to that.  The media needed someone to be the voice of the federal response and Trump simply wasn't it.  Fauci wasn't prepared for the role either but who was better prepared?

That’s a fair assessment I agree with. My corruption assertion has more to do with his obstinate stance on continuing the lockdowns when it started to become obvious they were doing more harm than good, and his view on the origins of the virus which seemed to conveniently align with the anti Trump crowd that fueled the cancel culture of dissenting voices.

He did the best he could in uncharted territory, but he became drunk on the power and the adulation from the left which provided them leverage to silence critics. He was happy to become more than just an immunologist.

This is just wishful thinking, imo. He wasn't just doing "anything" to save lives. Ivermectin was blacklisted. That is not to say that Ivermectin is the cure. It is, however, a harmless drug, tested on billions of people, that could have easily been tried if he was throwing up hail Mary's to save the people. I only include that as suggestive evidence that he wasn't a desperate man. The dude has always been subject to his ego. Here's a pre-pandemic article that says all the same things about his handling of the AIDS epidemic:

If you take the time to read that article, it just so happens to be the EXACT same scenario we were facing. There's a drug. The patent has expired. Big Pharma is working on a new treatment, and he's telling everyone to wait for that. Any studies that suggest otherwise are "irrelevant." The only difference between now and then is that the media is bought and paid for by big companies, and you just can't "question the science." Why? Oh, because it makes people a lot of money when you don't use old drugs.

Fauci has never had a problem lying. He's never had a problem doing what he needed to do to rise to the top. The guy exemplifies the dark triad of personality traits. He's a full-blown narcissist, he's manipulative, and he doesn't seem to mind putting his interest above the masses. One of Trump's biggest mistakes was not firing this guy early in the pandemic.
Thank you! He mishandled AIDs so badly I cannot believe he had a job. Period. Much less THAT job

Seriously. Dude was treacherous way before 2020.

The US and UK are bombing Yemen with the support of Canada, Australia, Bahrain, and The Netherlands.

Summary

US and UK forces have carried out air strikes against Houthi rebel targets in Yemen

President Biden says the strikes are in response to attacks by the Iranian-backed Houthis on ships in the Red Sea since November

Houthi deputy foreign minister warns US and UK will "pay a heavy price" for this "blatant aggression"

Royal Air Force warplanes helped carry out the "targeted strikes" against military facilities, says UK PM

PM Rishi Sunak adds that the strikes are "limited, necessary and proportionate action in self-defence"

The Netherlands, Australia, Canada and Bahrain provided support as part of the mission, says Biden

Strikes are reported in the capital Sanaa, the Houthi Red Sea port of Hudaydah, Dhamar and north-western Houthi stronghold of Saada

The Houthis control much of Yemen and say they are supporting ally Hamas by targeting shipping headed to Israel
The New Segregation on Campus

If you’ve heard that the diversity, equity and inclusion agenda is going away, don’t believe it. An emerging practice at elite medical schools segregates students by race to teach them about alleged structural racism in healthcare.

The University of California Los Angeles School of Medicine requires that first year students take a class called “Structural Racism and Health Equity” as part of the standard curriculum. In one exercise for the course, students divide by racial group and retreat to different areas to discuss antiracist prompts.

This is known as racial caucusing, a teaching device that UCLA describes as an “anti-racist pedagogical tool” to “provide a reflective space for us to explore how our positionality—particularly our racial identities as perceived within clinical spaces—influence our interaction with patients, colleagues and other staff.”...

...The day the civil-rights complaint was filed, UCLA abruptly informed students that the caucusing exercise was cancelled, which suggests that administrators know the practice is legally suspect. In accepting federal funds, schools must agree to abide by Title VI, which prohibits discrimination by race. It contains no exception for discriminating in pursuit of an antiracist agenda. As a public university, UCLA is also governed by the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment...
Simultaneously unbelievable and unsurprising.
Racism in medicine is real, just as much as sexism. The divergence in outcomes can be found along many metrics for many conditions.

But the black and brown providers are not perfect either. The divergence in lived experience between a young, black, academically talented provider and an elderly black poorly educated patient is huge, and simply being black doesn't bridge it. This is not something for the black and brown medical students to teach the white medical students. This is something they have to learn together. They have to learn how to listen to their patients better and earn their patients trust.
Rand Paul has consistently been one of the sanest voices in Congress. Very few things would surprise me, but it would actually make me sad if I ever found out he were corrupt in some way. Nikki is a tried and true neo-con. She will just further entrench the elites.
Isnt she rich because a huge "defense" corporation hired her?

Of course she wants war. She gonna cash in dem receipts
What a shame. The Bay Area was such a vibrant place ideal for tourism. But you can't help voters who won't help themselves.

Keith Lee cuts San Francisco/Bay Area trip short (newsnationnow.com)

Celebrity TikTok food reviewer Keith Lee’s highly anticipated trip to the Bay Area ended earlier than expected, Lee announced Thursday night. He listed unsafe conditions, disappointing food and an allergic reaction as reasons for his sudden departure.

Lee, an MMA fighter turned food critic, has gone to several American cities to try food spots and review them for his 15.6 million followers. He typically opts for “mom-and-pop” places over trendy and upscale restaurants, intending to bring increased attention and business to places that offer quality food and service.

Lee made three videos reviewing places called Double Decker (San Francisco), Chef Green (Oakland) and Mama T’s (Oakland) before posting Thursday night that the Bay Area stop was cut short. Lee listed three reasons for why he left the Bay Area early...

That’s ridiculous. If he were correct that would mean the Democrats are using the courts to selectively prosecute and intimidate political opponents.

Wait…
Kamala has less than 80 IQ points. That's the only inaccurate statement.

He's probably right.
NY law and legal practice is a mess and has been a mess for a while.
The Jan 6 related cases against Trump are legitimate, though.

Do we as private citizens in the United States of America have the most legally and yes even illegally acquired guns in the world?

Next question.

How many guns were found during this insurrection?

.... that's the end. Because an honest person answers...  yes and zero

Can't find what you don't look for.  They didn't go through metal detectors.
Besides
How many guns were the 576 members of the French National Assembly carrying with them to the tennis court?
