I think instead of firing his campaign managers, Trump needs to fire himself, because he is blowing an easily winnable election, and it's not their fault, it's purely his fault.

He needs his friends and political allies to lock him in a room, sit him down, look him in the eye and tell him that if he doesn’t change his ways, he’s probably going to lose in November.

Trump’s political friends, along with his pals who slobber all over him on conservative cable television, need to tell him that calling Kamala Harris “crazy” … and a “bum” … and “low IQ” … and “lyin’ Kamala Harris” — and now behaving as if he’s still in third grade by calling her “Kamabla” — may go over with supporters who are entertained by childish name-calling. But suburban women and college-educated moderate voters in general — the ones who likely will decide the presidential election — aren’t laughing.

And his friends need to tell him something else, even though it’s something he could never believe: That while he was once the glitzy star who caught the attention of voters who were tired of the same old politics, he has become the one thing that you can never be in the world of TV (where campaigns are run). They need to tell him he’s become … boring.

Yep. He's let the echo chamber of his rallies convince him he's on the right path. And yes, his schtick has grown stale. It's time to bring back Kellyanne Conway.

I'm pretty sure LaCivita and Susie Wiles (everyone here remembers her first big political gig) have never publicly disagreed with Trump. What is Fuentes even talking about?

There's a lot of disinformation going around. LaCivita has supposedly said things in the past against Trump. Then Project 2025 stuff and Trump having nothing to do with it. The Heritage foundation got a new leader who may have been a RINO at best and at worst is a liberal who was changing it and pushing the crazy parts to help democrats. Then head resigns/fired and rumors LaCivita is removing Heritage foundation people from the campaign, while those staffers have always supported Trump.

The Conway camp is pissed because they are pushed out because they want to support Ukraine and try to get the war bucks.



I don't know what is true and who is trying to use Trump to make money. Nick is correct that Trump needs to purge all lobbyists. He also needs to purge all RINOs and anyone in the DC circles.

It's incredibly hard to do this though as DC is entirely corrupt. These consultants go from campaign to campaign, they may not care about winning, they may not support the candidate, etc. Trump needs to run the campaign like a business and hire outside people. The swamp is a self-sustaining ecosystem now though and they are fighting to stay alive.

FSG said the feds won't bail anyone out on this because they aren't federally backed like student loans.
