I was actually thinking of the 2004 contest. My memory of it said Bush submitted a not-too-weird chocolate chunk recipe and Heinz-Kerry submitted a bizarre cookie recipe that included sour cherries. My memory was almost completely wrong though.

McCain-Romney don't want to win. There is no way she would have got anyone excited and a lot of people would have stayed home. It's the same reason both of them lost.

There are layers to it.
We have to fight corporate home ownership by taxing it more heavily than owner occupied AKA homestead ownership.
Florida already does this pretty well. Tennessee has barely even started.
In TN reassessments happen only once per 6 years, and all owners are reassessed at market rates regardless of homestead status. In FL reassessments happen every year but homesteader assessments can only increase by 2% annually while landlord assessments increase by whatever the market says.

The government printing endless money and driving up interest rates is the main culprit why young people can't afford to be homeowners. Not to mention first time buyers refusing to lower their standards. Wine budget, beer pocketbook (and not the good beer)

I appreciate people like him. It's refreshing to see him spell it out for some people that are not in the know or as versed as he is within the industry.
Scotty Kilmer is another go-to of mine if I am trying to hunt around for used cars that are reliable or fixes that I can do on my own with my older car for practice.
