Most of day one is likely to focus on ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION: up to 5 executive orders with that issue alone.

Not exactly.
In 2016, Trump didn't get a majority of the Republican primary vote.  Hillary got more votes than him.  And no one knew what he was going to do.  There were layers of reasons to be anxious.
This time, we already saw how he governs, and a huge majority of Republicans wanted that again, he got at least a plurality if not a majority in the popular vote.
Everyone understands that anyone who doesn't let him govern again is admitting that they oppose democracy. And they won't do it.  Not until he gets in and pulls some egregious abuse of power again, that is.  And maybe he won't do that. Let's hope.

The thrust of my argument is the MSM is the primary stoker of TDS, which is exactly what they did the last time he was elected. There were nationwide protests and sky screamers and in the middle of it all were MSM talking heads prodding it forward by predicting doom and gloom. From day one after his election, the media were in attack mode. Do you honestly believe the far left is silent now because they don't want to be seen as opposing democracy? Seriously? 

Or you could admit the MSM undermined its own credibility by peddling fantasy scenarios to its adherents during this election campaign. How can they be taken seriously to lead the charge against Trump when the people they hope to lead are leaving them in droves because the MSM lied to them? 

Let's just take a page from their own book and call the MSM "reality deniers".

See, I don't watch TV news and I don't think TDS is a real thing. 
I read stuff. 
And in the text space, there was a lot of angst about Hillary getting more votes, about Trump potentially trying to do illegal things, about Trump potentially being in bed with Russia, and about Trump being dishonest about his true intentions. We didn't know if key Republicans would split from him and maybe split the GOP. 
Today we know what we know. 
We know he tried to get Zelensky to prosecute Biden.
We know he freely shared secret info with Sergei Lavrov, on camera.
We know his first two efforts to prevent terrorists from entering were ruled to be racist and overreaching, though he did eventually strike the right balance.
We know he told people to go to the Capitol, watched them get violent, and didn't tell them to leave for three hours.
We know that 90% of Republicans will cheer him on.
And in our election we decided that was all OK.  There's nothing to be anxious about.  If Trump's second term is like the first, it will be what the people wanted.  Let the people have what they want.
And for God's sake if you don't like what the TV is saying, just turn it off next time.
Don't go around with your own anxiety that it's giving people a mental illness that somebody just made up.  Don't go around diagnosing people you don't know who don't watch TV with TV-induced mental illness just because they disagree with you.

No lie there.. Just pointing it out for the folks that aren’t aware.

Further I am trying to get you to see the reasons you hate Democrats, going back before Trump, are also mostly distractions that don't really affect your family's life and aren't really things for government to worry about anyways.
And when you come to the voting booth with only hate for what you are voting against, you send a clear message to your own party that they can nominate worse and worse people.
Further we need to pick not just a President but members of Congress who want to do something and actually work together to use the power that the constitution gives them.
We need to change our voting system to one that really allows people to vote for something rather than against something, so they feel heard rather than attacked. That system will then favor people in Congress who actually try to do the job rather than people who try to audition for TV news (cough Joe Scarborough cough). Ranked choice voting with Copeland counting is the best way, but anything's better than what we are stuck with now.

I never admitted to being a contrarian.
All I said is I'm more likely to stay quiet if I already agree with what has been said, and I'm more likely to post if nobody has spoken up for my point of view yet.
But I actually have a point of view and I don't change it just anger you. You are not that important. No one is.
