I told you he wouldn't endorse Haley. I do think he would have been a good President. Probably better than Trump in some ways. It's a shame. He should have just waited 4 more years.

You do know that candidates are personally responsible for all debts incurred by their campaigns. If the bills are piling up and the donations are beginning to wane with no real progress in poll numbers, a candidate has no choice but to end their campaign before the books are upside down. It's the correct ethical and financial decision and the main reason most candidates drop out of a race.
The campaign gets suspended, not ended. They can be paid off by donors of other candidates to drop out and fund all their bills. Depending on how they game the system, they could even use money for the next run.

I still don't have a good read on him because it was a total switch from what he had been doing.
His campaign was full of RINO, never Trump people, and Bush family. He brought out every person that was against Trump and had them put money and their names on him. None of them stayed hidden behind the scenes.
His campaign speeches, stops, etc, were terrible. To me, it never looked like he was really interested in the run. There were some rumors, who knows if there is any truth there, that said Casey was the one pushing him to run and she is power hungry.
So did his campaign force all the non-maga people out in the open or was it just the worst run campaign in a while and end his political career? I could see both sides being true. I hope he comes back and earns people's trust back in FL.

It's not a certain %, both of her parents were India citizens. Her parents were not citizens when she was born. There is little info to say either way whether they were legally in the country or not. There could be a legal challenge to if she is even eligible to run or not because birth right citizen is not a natural born citizen.

I don't condone bullying but nobody is special because someone talked [BLEEP] about or to them for any reason.

Right people were brutal when we were growing up in the south. Anything that made you different, the other kids were going to harp on again, and again, while the adults just let them. I feel like the northerners asking these questions may not realize that.
Haley wasn't saying that the bullying she experienced makes her special, she was just saying she understands racism and knows how to fight it.

If you're born here, you're a citizen for the purposes of both Article II and the 14th amendment. It's not amiguous. Her parents' legal status has nothing to do with it either way. There is absolutely no question of eligibility. Odd that certain people keep saying there's questions about these things, but only for certain candidates

My liberal neighbor is a half-white, half-Indian lady. She looks white as can be (maybe her nose is a little round, but that's not telling). Even if she spends all summer at the pool, I get darker than her. She often laments how hard it was for her growing up. She worries about her quarter-Indian kids being picked on because we haven't ended racism in America. I just don't get what happened to the left. I mean, I get it... I just can't understand how people are shifted so easily.
