Over the last few years, I've literally grown to hate the GOP just as much as the Dems..

Trash sub-humans..

We did provoke this war. Gotta finish it I guess.

Our stupid [BLEEP] government. Coup in 2014. US. CIA bases in Ukraine on the Russian border. US. Putting weapons in Ukraine that can reach Russia.. US. this is putting IRBMs in Turkey all over again. Except now we have a bone fide [BLEEP] in office instead of an actual man like JFK

The Ukraine and Russia actually worked out a deal long ago but America said nope, don't do it, we want you in NATO just to piss in Putins cereal. We have morons at the helm.

Most of that is not true.
But if we did put weapons and bases in Ukraine after 1992 but before 2014, we would only have done so with permission from Ukraine's government, which at that time was sovereign, and was independent from Russia. Meaning Russia should have minded their own business about it.

When the soviet union dissolved there was an agreement that no former soviet states would join NATO. America said nah bro that was like 30 years ago, doesn't count.

The more you study the cold war.. the more we look like [BLEEP]. We were the aggressor in almost every single incident

I'm sure the part about spy bases and advisors is true, but we did not give the ukrainians lethal aid until much later.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis routinely torches former President Donald Trump in private, calling him a “moron who has no business running for president” according to a former DeSantis staffer.

In all fairness to the Russians, that wasn't our approach to Cuba (and rightly so).  Putting offensive weapons within striking distance of a perceived "enemy" invites reaction, and that works both ways.

We didn't start giving Ukraine offensive weapons until Biden was President.  Russia started their invasion in 2014.

Maybe this anonymous former staffer should have focused more on not running the worst campaign in recent history.

A debate with Gavin Newsome? Lol.

You mean because of the US-led coup?

Most Americans don't realize them putting missiles in Cuba was in response to us putting IRBMs in Turkey on the border wiiiiiiith? RUSSIA.

We are the bad guys. We were then, we are now. It sucks but it's true

I think that's true, at least with the younger generation.  The Cuban Missile Crisis and the entire Cold War are just footnotes in history now.  Is it even studied in the high school anymore?

And what prompted the placing of the missiles in Turkey?

So in terms of international stuff you think the US was righteous? I don't give a [BLEEP] about the plight of people behind the iron curtain, why would I?

Explain how the US was righteous in any way.

Oh and what ended the Cuban Missile Crisis was us taking out the IRBMs. What a success story!

This fear of communism didn't amount to anything. In fact, it hurt us more. Look at our country now. How many college kids are Marxists?

Yeah, I'm not going to debate the merits of the US vs the USSR during the Cold War with you, it's clear you're a moron. There is no USSR today and, and based on this ridiculous post, you likely weren't alive when it was in existence.

I'm just using it as a timeframe.  I'm not sure the day we first started sending them stuff, but Biden was President that day, and it's super relevant to your "point" because it was fully 6 maybe 7 years after they first got invaded.
