I guess so. It's still kind of funny, though. To me, at least.
If CA is anything like NY, only a fool would do business there without first contributing to winning candidates.

I read a different article regarding European countries bringing back conscription and was impressed with Norway's system of having 20+ thousand active military members but can call up to a million 'reservists' if needed. I wonder how often those citizen soldiers train.
I worked with a lot of Norwegians when I was a government contractor. Their system is very different from ours. It's pretty much a "normal job" to them (they can quit at any time or be fired for any number of reasons). I'm not sure how their "army" works since I dealt with aircrews (pilots, flight engineers, sensor operators, etc.), but I remember one pilot instructor in particular that told me that he was "quitting" to take on a new job of the equivalent of our Secret Service. I asked him if he needed to finish his term (as in enlistment contract) and he told me that they don't have contracts.
Interesting. I may have to do some research about that. I found Norway to be a fascinating country after watching a Norwegian limited drama series on Netflix several years back. I wish the series was still available. It was really good.

I have a few online gaming friends from Norway. They are really not going the electric car way there. They are going the Hydrogen fuel cell route. Personally, this appears to me to be a better way than our countries electric battery route,
New reporting indicates Trump campaign second guessing Vance as VP pick.
Harris is a worse candidate than Biden was, and the drama of them getting rid of her next month will override any aingst about Trump. They have no.candidate, only pretenders to the crown.

To you she is worse than Biden, but you have to put yourself in the mind of the average voter. On the one hand, you see a snarling old man who anger-tweets all night, has ended Roe v. Wade, and been sued for abuse by multiple women. On the other hand, here is this smiling, rather pleasant, much younger, woman who will try to restore a woman's right to choose.
Women's vote. Check.
Black vote. Check.
Pro-choice vote. Check.
Much nicer seeming person. Check.
People that would put a moron in office. Check.

I don't want the brain damage that kind of blunt trauma would cause. And if you see Harris that way then you've been fooled by the media again. And so soon after the Biden Lie got exposed? Shameful.

More proof the knives are out for her. Soros steps in on her right after he marries Hillary's girlfriend out of the blue? Another interesting coincidence in all this. What's that, 12th or 13th now?

Left wing opinion pieces? So let's rewind, Trump predicted Joe would be out of the race and Kamala would take his place a month ago and now according to the article the sole reason he chose Vance was because Joe was on the ticket and he now has buyer's remorse about it after his prediction came true?
Vance could very well wind up being a bad decision, but the very easy to see evidence should show you Trump isn't thinking that right now.

When Soros! gives politicians money they become puppets.
When Elon Musk gives politicians money it is because they already have the best interests of the entire nation at heart. Praise be unto his Muskiness.

If Trump predicted Joe would be out of the race, why is he now complaining about Joe leaving the race?

Like I said in another post, he and other republicans are just likely attempting to pour political gasoline on the Dem dumpster fire to stir up contempt for Harris and Dems from undecideds and people previously committed to voting Biden. Also, we've been dealing with a lack of transparency regarding Biden and his mental state for some time and additionally so in this recent process of him stepping down. Perhaps because the truth might be embarrassing or leave them with few if any options? The truth being out could even be a national security threat, but if this is true this is an indictment on Kamala. It's the reason you pick a qualified individual with a strong, tough mind for VP being just a heart beat away from the seat.
The video from a month ago with Trump on the golf course is widely available out there. The prediction is not in question. Why would he predict it and then make a VP selection and then supposedly second guess his VP pick and complain about the Dems when his prediction came to pass? We're in an election season less than 100 days out. Complaining about the other guy or team is carte du jour. This isn't rocket science. You can draw informed, well reasoned conclusions such as the above from the facts at hand here. Saying he's second guessing his pick while what he predicted was going to happen happened isn't well reasoned.
