Wouldn't the 'campers' being on school property make it the school board's business?
“SPS will be identifying the area of the encampment that is close to the school, supporting City contracted outreach partners to identify solutions to challenges, and making clear the boundaries between city property and district grounds”

That kinda sounds like they’re just going to move the “campers” off the school grounds, but they’ll still be right there up against it.
Seattle much like Portland are pretty much lost causes.  That's what happens with democrat run cities.  Take a look at what much of California has become, more specifically democrat cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Just watch and see what the "open border" policy of the Biden Harris regime gives us.  Once the kids (and others) being held in cages are released, see what happens.

The main problem on the West Coast is a shortage of housing in general.  The restrictive zoning decisions were mostly made 50 years ago by local politicians of both parties.

You literally just make stuff up.
Finally, a school renaming that isn’t controversial.

So is the BLM loving NFL and NBA going to overlook Phillip Adams and the white family he brutally killed and murdered?

I didn't make this up.

Ban handguns.

It's not a shortage of housing, it's the fact that Commiefornia has outrageous taxes that drive the price of property and rent up (along with everything else).  The same could be said about Seattle.

What people like you don't understand is that landlords have to cover property taxes, insurance. maintenance, HOA (if applicable), and save for large expenditures (roof, HVAC, appliances, etc) while still trying to maintain a profit. Yes, real estate investors don't do this for fun. There needs to be a profit.

The rent reflects the cost of all these things. It's all relative.

You're halfway to understanding the argument.
I'm not villifying landlords, neither is the author I linked to.
The main cost that landlords deal with is the mortgage, which is a function of the property value.
The insurance costs are a function of the property value.
The property taxes are a function of the property value.
It's the property values that are too high, because the supply is kept artificially low.  Supply and demand.
In this case, it creates excessive homelessness and inhibits the formation of new households.
So you think California's homeless problem is because those people in the streets can't afford homes? Lol.

The kid doesn't understand how the world works. No real world skills.
So is nobody going to talk about the BLM insurrection at The Iowa State Capitol Building?

Domestic Terrorism..

He's not entirely wrong. There's plenty of people living in motorhomes and makeshift housing in California who have full time jobs but can't afford housing costs. Mostly around major metropolitan areas. It's not the root of the problem, but it does lend to a percentage of those who are homeless.
That's not THE homeless problem in California. I agree that it contributes, but it's a blip on the radar.

How old are you?
How old do you think I am?

So what in your opinion is THE problem?
Tell me a government policy in CA that causes or extends homelessness that we don't have in FL.  Have you ever had to evict someone? It's hard in both places.

The main thing that drives homeless people to CA is the weather.  If you're going to live outdoors, that's the state to do it in.
Then after that is the zoning policy, a blip by comparison,
Then after that is rent control that some CA cities have and some don't,
Then after that is every other government policy.
Evidently police are supposed to tell an armed suspect intent on causing bodily harm or death to just put the weapon down and all will be okay. My eyes are rolling so far back I can see my brain.

In Ohio lethal use of force is allowed on a suspect when they are an imminent threat to another person. That girl was definitely an imminent threat to the girl in pink.

Until Americans wake up and realize that leftists (not liberals) will use whatever opportunity they can to undermine the American power structure, they will continue to be duped by this insane ideas. I appreciate that you want to give people the benefit of the doubt, but the elites that are pushing critical theory are only concerned with one thing: power. It's all there if people would even attempt to understand the history of it.
