When asked for a comment from the local DNC representative, she sank to her knees and began pulling her hair out while screaming "January 6th! January 6th!"
I don't think she's a democrat anymore either lol

So a guy that lost an election is alleging election fraud. He even says, "I think we have proof of what we believe might be fraud and corruption in the state of Mississippi." Boy, that's a new one.

When will the FBI be raiding his house?

We’ll have to wait and see if it goes past claims into actively trying to falsify the results.

That didn't matter last time.

The devil is in the details. Those details being who she votes for next year or ever again. If she votes blue then she's just running her mouth.
Also, it's not up to the rich to help folks on the daily. Donating large amounts of money in times of crisis is a gift only they can give. Good for them if they do it. If they don't they definitely shouldn't be out there asking the rest of us to. I think Dewayne Johnson is a legit nice guy and gives a lot of his time and money to causes he feels strongly about. I don't trust Oprah for anything.

I was in that same boat about Dewayne and Oprah.. Now, I don't trust Dewayne either..
Guilty by association..
As expected, a judge appointed by Rick Scott has ruled that US house districts in North Florida must be redrawn so that once again a district will elect the candidate of choice for Black voters on Jacksonville's North side.
Lawyers for DeSantis had conceded the point that the maps used in 2022 violated the Florida constitution. They argued that the Florida Constitution contradicts the US constitution, but the state level judge ruled that he is not qualified to consider that argument and DeSantis does not have standing to present it. If this does make it to the US Supreme Court they are sure to agree that a Black performing district is required, given the very similar decision they just handed down for Alabama.
The only real question is if the FL Supreme Court will go along with DeSantis' argument. If they do, it might give us one more cycle under this unconstitutional map, and it would force the US Supreme Court to hear the case and write a new opinion about it. If not, DeSantis' team will probably appeal to the US Supreme Court and the US Supreme Court will simply refuse to hear the case.
The other issue is if the Democrat plaintiffs are content with just untangling what DeSantis did in Duval, which has obvious racial implications along with partisan implications, or if they will also try to untangle what DeSantis did in Pinellas County, which has only partisan implications.

And yet, somehow, we live so much better today than we did then. There are many things we have today, whose cost cannot be compared to 1930, because they didn't exist. Televisions, air conditioning, mobile phones, internet access, paved roads, the list goes on and on.
And the things he did compare cost-wise are far better products today than they were in 1930. Cars and houses are so much better today there isn't any comparison in terms of quality. No one wants to buy a 1930s style car or house. So he's comparing apples and oranges.
He's just another millennial complaining about how tough life is. "We're in a silent depression. What went wrong?" Ridiculous.

All of that is true.
Even worse is that talking about salaries in the 1930s completely misses the point. The main problem in the 1930s was the unemployment rate in the 25% to 30% range. So yes, the necessities of life were affordable, if you had a job. Way too many people didn't have one. The necessities of life were more affordable because so many people were simply out of the market. Demand was low.

Whenever the Democrats take power there is a lurch to the left for another cause. This latest lurch has been to decouple parental rights, sexualize children and mutilate them in the name of “gender affirming care”. It scares me to see what their next heave will be.

I'd like to know what percentage of the mainstream Democrat voters actually approve of the Party's movement in this direction, as a stand-alone question.
