If I told you Bernie Sanders would be working with Donald Trump about a year ago what would you have said?
As long as it happens, right?
Needs to happen!!
While it will be nice, it's going to cause some pain for people. Limits will be shrunk and accounts will be closed for new charges. People will also not be able to get new accounts. It should help people who don't know what a budget is or people trying to live outside their means.

DOGE needs to look at this as well. Heck we could give every state a billion and still save money.
Department of Education budget request for 2025
$82.4 billion in discretionary Budget Authority, a $3.1 billion or 4.0 percent increase from the fiscal year 2024
annualized Continuing Resolution (CR) level. No programs were eliminated or consolidated

Without Elon & Trump, the uniparty would keep rolling on, corrupting our country even further every day..
Accountability is coming!!
And we're alive to see it.
Great feeling..

The Pentagon just failed its seventh audit in a row.
The nation’s largest government agency is unable to fully account for its budget of over $824 billion.
They don’t even know where billions of taxpayers’ money is going.
Efficiency is coming — @DOGE

Sounds like the rules of government budgeting need to take over. If you can't spend all your money and show the statements, then the next year's budget automatically gets slashed by that amount of money.
The automatic increases need to be removed. You should have to apply for your increase. The budgets should also put a cap on discretionary spending to a small amount. The budgets should all be very detailed and any deviation should require documentation. Discretionary spending should include a high level of documentation so less is actually spent.

Could happen, not out of the realm of reality, but until you look at it the impact is never known. I am waiting to see how this one plays out.

BREAKING: Iowa pollster Ann Selzer retires from polling.
Her final Iowa poll was Harris+3 and she tried to justify it. The final result was Trump+13 - an error of 16 points.
The Selzer poll was previously the “gold standard” of polling.
However, Selzer says this decision to retire was made before her final poll of 2024.

One thing is for sure, pollsters and the MSM took a big hit in credibility (and perhaps viability for some) this election because the left discovered firsthand what the right has been telling them all along about the lies and bias. They were peddling, quite literally, fantasy to fit their narrative.

That's why I tried to stay away from pollsters this election cycle.. They poll who they want, to show the results that
they want.
All of the open polls on X that I've been seeing for months leading up to election day, were all pretty accurate by comparison.
It's almost like X has it's finger on the pulse..

Agreed. There are some here that do the same. Also, don't cry for her as she can now retire as she got her cut of Kamelas 1 billion.

It will happen if there is a cap. People can’t get car loans, but everyone can get credit cards. So, with the cap, the companies won't be able to make enough to cover the default risks. They will have to stop offering cards to the risky people.
It will stop people from becoming slaves to their credit card debts, but they may not like having to use cash or debit cards now.

Projecting what may or may not happen if they study this and decide to take action is a slippery slope. I am in a wait and see mode. They do need to analyze this and see what can be done. Not looking at this issue because of fear of the outcome is not productive.

More government regulation in the free market. No one is forcing anyone to get a credit card.
Back in 2017-18 I had to go to many, many doctor appointments before I was finally diagnosed with an issue that required life saving surgery. When the flexible spending account money ran out the copays, meds and the gas for my truck for 2 hour commutes had to go on a credit card. All of that before the surgery that cost thousands of dollars after insurance paid their part.
Not everyone with CC debt is spending it on frivolous [BLEEP].

It will happen but it's not a bad thing. MSM will probably run stories about it as the credit card companies will want to stop it. People use to use layaway and they may have to go back to that. If you didn't have money for something, you had to wait. It will suck for true emergencies but that is what people used their credit cards for.
