You've missed the point completely. It's takes more bravery to wear that dress at such an event.

It's a left wing event, they are all rich, they all say tax the rich. They know they can bypass the tax.

If they wanted to really tax the rich, all the career liberal politicians should set an example and pay the 30-40% they say they want.

Did it hurt her career, finances, or reputation? If the answer is no, it wasn't brave. It's just optics meant for a certain group of people who post in her defense on message boards.

The only thing that [BLEEP] ever did that was considered brave was walk passed the glue factory without getting snatched up..

Aside from herself, others in attendance include Justin Bieber, a kardashian, Billie Eilish , and other rich people.  But I’m glad the broke are eating something up.

Oh… yeah….sure.  We can add an insane amount of bravery to her insane amount of stupidity.  Good for you AOC.

That event costs $35K per ticket, her dress was custom made (read $$$$,) she was loaned expensive jewelry to wear and her hair and makeup were not done for free.

There is not one brave thing about anything she did.
I heard Andrew Cuomo showed up in a tux that said #MeToo. We are really making progress, guys.
I can't believe she wore a dress that resembles a bag from a restaurant that openly demonizes gay people!
California has elected to keep Newsom in office.

Of course they did. Can't have a black republican in charge for a year to send a message to the establishment that you won't have your rights trampled. Californians are morons.
Crapafornia loves their dictators.. Misery loves company.
Tulsi Gabbard on Fox News eviscerating democrats for Afghanistan and the border. Bret Baer asked her if she was still a democrat. She paused for a split second and then confirmed she still was. You could tell she wasn't comfortable answering it.

Aside from the heartless and soulless devils, oh and Mikesez, is anyone really comfortable being a democrat?
Texas abortion ban could take an unexpected toll on the space industry | Space

I visit this site almost daily and you would think a subject like space should be largely exempt from social pandering. It mostly is but there are a couple of writers on this site's staff who are woke. The writer of this article, Chelsea Gohd, is one of them and wears it on her sleeve. She's trying her darndest to manufacture a crisis in this article and bolsters it with outtakes like, "But while government officials continue to grapple with the legality of the ban, people who can get pregnant in Texas are grappling with the grim realities of its ramifications — and its consequences are already reaching the space sector." Yes, Chelsea, those people would be women, not women who want to identify as men, or "non-binary gender minorities".

It's obvious they are attempting to leverage outrage in an attempt to affect the Texas space industry in order to protest their abortion law. While I can understand the concerns of women who protest the Texas law, attempting to lump gender nebulosity into the mix is only muddling the message and weakening its focus.

This article also leaves me with a question. Does the average woman seek an abortion so often that it affects her ability to work in a state which limits it?
We used to have a word for "people who can get pregnant" but the New Language forbids we enfranchise them with recognition.

It's just science, man.
And this is why we need to not depend so heavily on China, India and other countries for supply of nearly everything we use. When we shipped everything to be made overseas we really screwed ourselves over on many levels.

Could you imagine a WW2 scenario today where all of our manufacturers opened their factories to build for the war effort? Do we even have anything like that here anymore? I guess car manufacturers would have to step up like they did last year to make PPE and other equipment.
