Unless you're suggesting Biden had already decided to drop out when Trump said it (maybe he heard it through the grape vine) and only held on, lying to the American people along the way for the sole purpose of selling it to Trump, to wait for Trump's VP pick before formally announcing it. The timing of that does match up, but that's some serious stretching and a lot of lying and pretense by the masters of truth and decency. If you believe that, you're completely ok with being directly lied to by your candidate and party. Good luck with that.
