We know about the new Congress person from Delaware, but there are many many other people in the Capitol building that are not so well known and may also be trans.

I can see where he is coming from as members have many options. Members and visitors need to respect everyone's rights. It is a tough subject.

They can use the janitor's closet to insert their tampons.

These people ran on the issue of hostility and cruelty toward trans women (not a lot said about trans men). It would be hard for them to not take this stance now. It was a centerpiece, and continues to be a centerpiece, of their entire political philosophy.

No, we ran against it being taught to our kids as early as kindergarten. We ran against it being in women's bathrooms and women's sports. We ran against it being force fed to us in every other movie and television show.. You guys did it to yourselves.

I find this an interesting hill to die on. Approximately .06% of the adult population identifies as trans. That means 99.4% are not. Personally I have no issue with any adult making that decision. They definitely have rights, but those rights do not supersede the rights of the majority.
