He said Hillary was better than Trump before 2016. He has come into the MAGA support and has been loyal since but still find it hard to trust him for this position. Trump is nominating someone to lead the MAGA movement after him, so it has to be 100% the correct pick and can't be another Pence or similar swamp picks that got put into leadership positions.
Vance needs to formally apologize and explain why he said those things in the past. Then say why he has changed and why he is on-board now. That will help sell him to both the democrats joining and the MAGA supporters.
Carson may not speak loud but he carries a big stick and isn't afraid to use it. He can intellectual take down anyone. Put him in a debate with Trump and he will explain all of Trump's grand statements in detail and show how they will help the people.
Unity for everyone but libs. You and the libs have the choice, it's no longer the republicans having to unify with what the democrats want. Either you turn from your evil, destroy America ways or you face the consequences of your choices.

Unity is good, but it is not the highest good.
If you have a serious and meaningful disagreement, you have to let it out and put it ahead of unity. You have to accept some disunity so everyone can be heard.
But if you just want to piss someone off for fun, that's not healthy. For anyone. You get the disunity but still no one is heard and nothing is accomplished.

Exactly. They can convert, or die. Right buddy?
Damn, you fell for it. I'm really not surprised though.

Joking like that is also called trolling.

Good call..
You don't want her running. She and her husband are part of a lot of the problem picks in the 1st term. The husband needs to be as far away as possible.

That's a solid first step taken by Jack Black, but within the next day or so (and not waiting to see the extent of the public backlash) he needs to announce the end of Tenacious D or the permanent replacement of Gass, or it will be the end of Jack Black appearing on TV or being heard in this household. I don't care that he appeared on stage and stumped for Biden, that's forgivable, but this is absolute [BLEEP] and worthy of cancellation.

I was told it is silly to demand apologies from public figures.

No, you were told it revealed an emotional component to your statement when you were denying there was any. Your quick reply here and misquote of me reveals you are likely still dealing with those emotions. I'm not denying an emotional component to my statement above. I'm also not inferring anything that Gass said. He said it. It's vile and should be condemned in the strongest possible manner.

Was there an active and televised threat to Trump's life within minutes of Gass' words?
Because there was an active and televised threat to the VP and members of Congress' lives within minutes of Trump's words.
If Gass should apologize, Trump should apologize all the more.

I'm not asking for Gass to apologize. He's apparently a very sick individual and does not deserve fame or fortune. He should be cancelled and so should anyone that stands with him. You're inferring Trump's intent because there were no vile verbal requests or otherwise made to attack or kill anyone. Do you see the difference?
This seems an awfully ridiculous hill to plant your flag on to defend.

He doesn't see the difference and there's no molehill too small for him to dig his heels into before he reverses himself and blames you for misunderstanding him.

He doesn't see what's become obvious to me which is that his emotions are driving his "logic", at least when it comes to the topic of Trump.
