That is not what the 1st amendment means and not how it works.
As Musk himself said, it's freedom of speech, not freedom of reach.
Twitter is allowed to mute whatever tweet they want to mute. And they are allowed to work with or against any government or political party they want to as they go. If they want to work with CDC, fine. If they want to work against CDC, fine. That's the first amendment. There has never been any ban on private speakers working with the government.
What don't you understand about the government can't infringe on your rights in the bill of rights?
Twitter can do whatever they want as long as they aren't breaking laws. You as a private citizen can reach out and ask them to do something about information about you or anything else that may not be true or that you just don't like.
As soon as a GOVERNMENT representative does it, they are now infringing on your rights of free speech.
There are no ifs ands or buts about it. If you then certify your own crimes, you just committed treason. There is no one in Arizona unfortunately that will hold them accountable though to the treason that just took place as they have emails in the Missouri vs Biden case showing she asked to remove accounts and tweets.

A foreign country’s influencing the outcome of our elections was unacceptable. Flash forward four years, our federal police force deliberately mislead social media platforms and the MSM in influence an election and see nothing wrong with that. Forget that the social media platforms and the MSM are complicit in the ruse, the FBI squashed legitimate news with lies and deception that in all likelihood would have changed the way many people voted in 2020.
This is the real issue in this, not Trump. The Administration/DNC via the MSM march out Trump to distract the lapdogs and you guys fall for it every single time. It’s like yelling “Squirrel” at Labrador.

You don't lose your right to have and express opinions when you join the government. You just can't back your requests up with any threat of force (by the way private citizens are also not allowed to use threats of force to get their way in matters of opinion). If these government representatives threatened to use government power to harm Twitter over matters of opinion, yes, that would be a violation of the 1st amendment. If they simply requested it, it is not.

I don't think I used the word "horrific".
It is illegal for foreign governments or their representatives to try to influence our elections. Illegal and unacceptable basically mean the same thing. And anyhow the crime is on the foreigner. Just because foreigners were committing crimes to help him, means nothing good or bad about Trump. Unless Trump helped them. Ultimately there was no evidence that he did.
It is not illegal for US citizens, ones in office and not in office, to try to influence elections. There are limits on what the military and some others on the federal payroll are allowed to say or do in public or in uniform. It would be illegal for the FBI as an institution to try to influence an election, and unethical for them to lie about it (although the FBI is allowed to temporarily lie to the public if it helps a legitimate investigation).
But I haven't heard these allegations before.

I've used many words.
That last post was dealing with actions that are legal but unethical. A large number of actions could be in that category. You're asking about actions that are ethical but illegal. That is a much smaller category, and I agree with you, we should change the law in these cases.
