I've been posting on this message board for years, and I have gradually discovered that there are some pretty weird people who post here. People with chronic health problems, shut-ins who have nothing better to do than troll other people, a transvestite who posts pictures of himself in drag, etc etc etc. People slowly reveal themselves in their posts, and a lot of people who post here are pretty strange.

Self-immolation is such a pointless way to die. Most people simply think the person had mental issues and the cause they sacrificed themselves for remains the same.

In the Navy, during damage control and mass casualty drills, we were told pain is a good thing when burns are involved. Lack of pain means deep tissue damage.

Experienced that kind of pain, first hand.. Until I didn't anymore.
