Very true, but on the other hand, I think generational wealth is a good thing. Having grown up in grinding destitution, I can attest to the stresses of poverty and how avoiding those stresses and deprivation in my youth would have made me a better person today. 

However, the benefit of generational wealth depends on the parents. Raising children in wealth with an appreciation of those benefits, humility, and the importance of nurturing that wealth for their progeny is ideal. Spoiled brats are more likely to squander that privilege for their offspring.

I do not agree with this. Sure he can tell him what he wants but that not be the best thing to do. First, illegal encounters have more than doubled (almost tripled) just between border points. Yea it is a fraction of the south but is a growing issue.

Next whatever he does tell Trump, Canada will be expected to do this and held accountable. It's not like it matters to Canada, the US is only about two thirds or more of their exports. The refineries in Louisiana and Texas are some of the few in the world that can process the heavy crude they produce. (Alaskan oil is the same way). 

Just like wars, nobody ever wins trade wars. Everyone experiences pain. The Canadians have just been looking the other way under the last administration as it made no difference to them if the people used their country to jump the border. . That time is over.
