What a shame it has come to this. The Dems really laid bare their full intentions over the last few years, which is to marginalize and disenfranchise anyone who doesn’t support their agenda. From undermining parental rights to deplatforming people on social media to attempting to block a presidential candidate from running has been revealing to their true agenda. It’s pretty damn scary, if you ask me

Haley creeping up in New Hampshire. Let’s see if she closes.
Let's hope not. She'll be better than Biden, but not in the long run.

Why do you say that?
The long and short of it is that she is a pawn in a much larger game. I am not accusing her specifically of corruption, although I think she has been corrupted. We the people are far too shortsighted in modern American politics, primarily because we are underinformed (especially those who think they are informed). We are being outmaneuvered by small contingent of truly powerful people who are comfortable making small, strategic moves in favor of long-term gains. Haley's policies will sound like a deviation from democratic policies, but, aside from short term relief, I believe the only policies that get passed will be those that continue to support entrenched bureaucrats, restrict freedom of information, and, ultimately, stifle free market competition in favor of well-established corporations.

A perfect example is her desire to remove anonymity from social media. Sounds great in the short term, but it will remove a level of dissent and allow for specific persecution of ideas. As to the free market, the game is played like this: When democrats are in power, the only laws that get passed put barriers of entry into the free market in the name of (x), and when republicans are in office, restrictions are removed that hinder corporate growth via employee protections and tax restrictions.

While I think Haley COULD bring sanity back to politics for a few years, it will ultimately be a Presidency that continues to support the greed and corruption that is ruining America. Unless she's willing to tackle the establishment (which she's not), we are only delaying the inevitable. The masses really need to start figuring out that we the people have way more in common with each other than we do with our mainstream political candidates.

That isn't an answer. It's an ideological essay. You cite one reason, and all the other words are around it. What policy did she keep as a governor? Or was there anything lurid as an ambassador? Now you say she's corrupted. How and why did that happen and from whom? You've presented more questions than you've answered.
Fair. It is ideological.

Corrupted is different than corruption, which I thought was clear. Maybe tainted is a better word? I don't see how anyone who is being backed by the establishment class can do anything other than rule FOR the establishment class. What do we the people have except our vote? I will answer your question more thoughtfully, though it may take me a while to research.

Here's where I am so far. As South Carolina Governor, Nikki Haley supported substantial subsidies to Boeing. In 2013, she signed a bill providing Boeing with $120 million in bonds for facility expansion in the state. Earlier, in 2009, as a legislator and gubernatorial candidate, she backed a $900 million subsidy package for Boeing to establish manufacturing facilities in South Carolina. Now, I don't have problems with that in and of itself, as it's her job as governor to bring jobs to her state. By itself, that means nothing. However, she left office as her parent's hit a financial crisis and took a position with Boeing. Her net worth jumps from under a million (which was mostly her 350,000 house and a 400,000 loan she gave to her parents) to 8 million dollars in a few years. Not only that, but she also somehow managed to afford a 2.4-million-dollar home as she joined the Boeing board, despite making a modest income and having her parent's quit paying back the loan. She wrote a book and started getting paid speaking gigs at corporations, and, while that's not new, she outpaced other politicians who have done the same.

You mean to tell me that none of that taints her? Once you start down that road, when does it stop. Look at Bernie Sanders. Elizabeth Warren. Joe Biden. Once politicians start making a living via politics... not just making a living, but making a small fortune, it changes the nature of their ABILITY to put the people over their own interests. Do you want me to keep going? Or is that evidence enough to suggest that I'm on the right track and it's at least plausible.

Unless they're a lifelong politician, any candidate is going to have a background. She sure looks like a ladder climber (ambitious) to me. When did that become a bad thing? At this point, it's speculation on whether her background with Boeing has any influence while in office. But at the same time, I utterly understand what you're saying and it's a valid point. Then again, would her exposure to some of the top executive talent in the country be a bad thing if becoming the Chief Executive? Is she beholden to one of the biggest government breast feeders ever? We just don't know yet.

Search for the video on twitter of her changing every belief she has. She is the definition of a RINO, politician scum who will tell you whatever you want to hear and doesn't believe in anything she says.

Watch the video on twitter of DeSantis from Newsmax about Christmas. The video calls out Casey for wanting DeSantis to be president and he looks like he is a hostage. Starting to really believe the rumors that he didn't want to run but was pushed by his wife and her thirst for power. It's either that or he is on the spectrum as he has been captured many times on the campaign trail not looking like he is comfortable talking to people.

I have a better idea. How about you post the videos? Come on, you can do it.
I personally love a good race. I hope we get one, and it’s not a boring easy nomination as it appears to be so far. I feel robbed that we didn’t get to see Trump on the debate stage spitting zingers at his rivals.
This isn't fair.. He couldn't talk because he was muzzled!!
