They need a Republican Nancy Pelosi. Regardless of whether you agree with her politics, she was a master at that role.

Plus, Democrats march in step. They don’t call out members of their own party, no matter how unhinged.
It is notable that in the past 24 hours— Tucker criticized US foreign aid to Israel, Alex Jones strongly condemned civilian casualties committed by the IDF, and Candace Owens has been fired by Daily Wire.
Seems there has been a shift. This is happening during a sharp split between Biden and Netanyahu after a DoD memo called Netanyahu “non-viable” earlier this week, US submitted a UNSC resolution calling for immediate ceasefire, and Chuck Schumer amplified calls for Netanyahu’s ouster.
All of this as Netanyahu prepares to defy the world, including the US, and invade Rafah— a move which will have profound consequences, including potentially triggering a war with Hezbollah and crossing the sharpest “red line” established by the US in the campaign in Gaza to date.

Will Democrats Take Over House Amid Mike Johnson Ouster Threat? (newsweek.com)
"Representative Matt Gaetz, a Florida Republican who led the ouster of former Speaker Kevin McCarthy, told NBC News he believes ousting Johnson could end with a Democratic speaker.
"We'd have Republicans cross over. I worry that we've got Republicans who would vote for [House Minority Leader] Hakeem Jeffries at this point. I really do. I take no joy in saying that. But you can only vacate the speaker if you know that the party leadership won't change hands. I knew that with certainty last time. I don't know it with certainty this time," he said.
And what difference would Jeffries be besides what we already have now with your ilk [BLEEP] up the party?
None..
When you have nothing, you risk nothing.
