"Mexico’s move comes amid growing tensions with its northern neighbor, the United States, over issues such as immigration, border security, trade and human rights. The US has imposed tariffs on Mexican goods, threatened to cut off aid and demanded that Mexico do more to stop the flow of migrants from Central America."

Those aren't leftist policies, unless you want to call Trump a leftist.

Biden signed everything put in front of him to overturn anything Trump did while in office. Apparently he didn’t overturn this. Is Biden Trump’s puppet?

You seem like a reasonable person most of the time, but on occasion you allow your seething hate for Trump to override any sense of reason.

Although it is true that I strongly dislike Trump, I wasn't criticizing him.  I was referring to the previous post that said this is the result of leftist policies.  The policies the Mexicans are mad about, the ones listed in the article, are not leftist policies.

Lol, Marty... c'mon man. The Mexican President liked Donald Trump. Everything you read about Trump and Mexico was manufactured by a largely liberal media that wanted to make it seem like Trump hated Mexico and Mexicans. Classic demagoguery, but you guys just keep giving too much credit to our media complex. It's true that Lopez Obrador disliked Trump. He had political affiliations with the democrats and bought into the narrative about Trump... that is right up until he met him and renegotiated the North American Trade Pact. After that, he consistently referred to Donald Trump as a friend who understands Mexicans.

I will never understand why you guys fail to see what's right in front of your face. Democrats believe they are above the law. They believe they can craft the world they want with ZERO input from other nations. This trend is going to continue as more and more nations look to get out from under the oppressive thumb of progressive policies, and you can't blame TRUMP for that. He's just the scapegoat.

Then you said, "How can people not see the damage of leftist policies?"

And then I said, those are not leftist policies.  And they aren't.
What so funny is both of these bozos live with their mother. Morons.

Okay, I see now.
I don’t know if anyone here besides me watches News Nation but they’re going to 24-hour news programming in two weeks. I sure hope they don’t disappear down the same biased content rabbit hole that every other round-the-clock news station has.

Yeah... sure, Marty. The dude got along with Trump, and was just defending him the other day, but he hates all the policies he implemented. That's how that works.... lol.

You are so transfixed by "what the article says" that you don't even question what it's saying. I am literally challenging what it's saying and you can't move off of it. Those things cited are not what he's mad about. The Mexican President doesn't like that this administration doesn't give them autonomy. Let's see what the director of the Mexico Institue at the Wilson Center has to say about it, "“I think it is more that the Biden administration has tried hard to re-institutionalize the relationship and restore the relationship that’s not centered solely on immigration and trade. And I think as a result, that leads to issues coming up that AMLO is less comfortable talking about.” In other words, they want Mexico to go green which is going to harm their ability to compete globally and stay energy independent.

“At the end of the day, the problem is that you have the complete mismatch in this relationship,” said Arturo Sarukhan, who served as Mexico’s ambassador to the US from 2006 to 2013.

Good.. Expel them. State Representatives shouldn't be taking part in an insurrection. Nobody is above the law.

They had enough of "Dr." Jill as well?

I guess real athletes have a problem with participation trophies.

You're not serious.
If you don't think I should call Jan 6 an insurrection, this demonstration in Nashville was certainly not an insurrection.  There were many differences.  To me, a key question is did everyone go through a metal detector or not? Other people may focus on other things.  What did the Sargeant at Arms say and do during the event is another question
That said, I do think these Democrats should be punished for disrupting the floor.  Expulsion is too far though, for a first offense.

A little presumptuous for them to assume the Obamas would invite them?

Nobody is above the law Mikey.. Insurrectionists belong in prison just like the J6 prisoners.. Equality for all.
I mean, honestly, this may be worse in the spectrum that these were State Representatives that took part in the insurrection and not civilians.

Lol, you are so predictable. This is hilarious to me. Sad, but hilarious.

That's a separate issue. Right after January 6, there was talk of potentially expelling some members of Congress. But all the evidence ended up saying that none of the 535 members wanted Jan 6 to happen.  Only Trump wanted it to happen.
These Democrats in Nashville obviously participated in and wanted these events to happen, and that's why that punishment is still being discussed, but the events themselves are less serious.  At no time did anyone question who is really in charge in Nashville, and there was no violence.

There's a rumor going around that if you put a shell up to your ear, you can hear some guy moaning, as Stormy collects another $10 for her Trump Fund..
https://twitter.com/AntonioSabatoJr/stat...1mRvw&s=19

So is this the reason why there's rumors of Obama moving back to Kenya?
Ann Coulter thinks Trump's indictment is all a conspiracy by Dems to get Trump nominated so the Dems can win the election.

https://thespectator.com/topic/republica...omination/

"Democrats are playing Republicans like a fiddle. The left’s sole objective is to make Trump the Republicans’ 2024 presidential nominee. He’s already lost three election cycles for the GOP — why not make it four?"

"Republicans: No matter how angry you are at Democrats for politicizing the law, please remember: Trump. Will. Lose. To. Biden. There is absolutely no scenario in which he wins. The good news is there’s virtually no scenario where Biden wins — unless Trump is his opponent."
Trying times in which we live.
