The city is out of money. The budgets are being killed for every department and these are budgets that were already strapped and trimmed. They are going to quickly have to start deporting people or the city is going to end up collapsing or revolting.

Johnson, (like Jordan would have been), is the best of a bad situation. Lots of trash left to take out in The Republican Party. But at least they've finally started.

Jim Jordan and his followers said Jim should be speaker because he always owned the libs in his many TV News appearances.
Meanwhile, Mike Johnson is apparently one of those guys who actually shows up and writes bills and reports. By all accounts I see he does the job more like it's supposed to be done.
The media is making a big deal that he participated in elections lawsuits, but the legal briefs he filed had no lies. They had unconvincing arguments but no lies. This may have all worked out for the best.
