There were no restrictions on immigration in any state when the Constitution was adopted.
You're right that the preamble says "the people of the United States" but the 5th amendment says "any person."

You can believe what you want. The USSC did not say the 5th applies to illegal immigrants anymore than during deportation the laws of another country must be evaluated before deportation. That just has not happened. Could it in the future? . However, at this time you are just reaching. You would say other people were make stuff up, but whatever.

Here is another one of your people. Maybe you can fight for him too.

We should never have let it get this bad. We should have made it easier to immigrate legally.  We should have had real punishments for people who hired illegal labor. We can still do both of these things today.
But violating the Constitution to "fix" the problem is like throwing a brick at a window to kill a fly.

LOL.  You still can't answer the tough questions.  Is it because you have no idea, or because you realize to do so exposes the true agenda of the Left.  None of your liberal leaders give a rat's furry little bottom about Garcia.  He's just a pawn and an excuse to thump the podium and proclaim themselves champions of the oppressed.  Their goal is to turn the deportation process into an impossible quagmire and you're supporting it with every post.
Where in the Constitution, or any Amendment, does it say that deporting illegal aliens back to the country from which they came, is a violation of their rights?

The 5th amendment doesn't say you have to be a citizen or legal immigrant to get due process of law.  You only have to be a person.

You're historying and constitutioning wrong; it ain't for the benefit of we the people, it's for righthinking white american transvestites and their sympathizers only.
Get it right.

You know, with the tone of your post that have been directed at me, I'm thinking that you are a closeted Cross dresser/Transvestite. You seem very angry.... Is it because that you don't have the courage to be yourself and that you're pissed off because you see me living as myself and being happy???? Just remember the the words of Capt. The fifth amendment says you can't be deprived of liberty without due process of law. If I put you on a plane or a bus that you don't want to go on, I am depriving you of liberty. Due process of law includes the opportunity to hear specific charges against you and present your side of the story in court.

The 5th amendment covers the people of the United States. In fact there is an argument the constitution does not cover anyone but citizens of the United States. The illegals are covered by their nations constitution. It does not cover illegal aliens. The USSC never said it did. You keep saying this but it is incorrect.

You're clamoring for a process you can't even define.  No wonder your party can't get anything done efficiently.
Why are you afraid to answer my earlier questions?  What will these court appearances entail?

That's an interesting argument. Can you show me any federal court case where the judge affirmed this argument?

It's not about creating a perfect process for deporting immigrants.  There are many possible processes that could be used. It's just about acknowledging, the process that was used to deport Albrego Garcia, along with more than 200 others, was not adequate.  I don't have to know the best recipe for bread to be able to tell you "these saltines are not good enough to be called bread."
Anyone still think that Biden and the DemocRATS really care bout American Citizens????????

Agreed there.  It is not about the law. Over the last 10 years there are more than a few clips of the Democrats supporting deportations of illegals and being aligned with this. Heck, Obama had the nickname deporter in chief,  is all about resisting. No other motivation. It is dishonest. Just like opening the borders under the last administration was dishonest.

By now Trump has probably deported tens of thousands of folks in this second term. Most of it was on the up and up.  Most of those people were correctly identified and categorized in proper court hearings.  It's just about 200 to 300 who were not.  Maybe some dishonest "resisting" Democrats are hypocritically complaining about deportation in general, but not me.  I'm just complaining about this small number of people deported under the alien enemies act.

Jasmine Crockett Caught Cutting Disabled People In Line To Board Flight

Democratic Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett is facing backlash after images on social media appeared to show the left-wing firebrand cutting the line in front of passengers in wheelchairs while boarding a flight in Atlanta over the weekend.

Republican House Conference chair Lisa McClain posted the images on her personal campaign account Sunday, arguing Crockett was “abusing her power” by boarding in front of the passengers with disabilities. McClain’s post comes after Crockett called Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbot, who is paralyzed from the waist down and uses a wheelchair, “Governor Hot Wheels” while speaking at an LGBT advocacy event in Los Angeles in March.

Crockett, who is viewed by some in the media as a rising star within the Democratic Party, has frequently courted controversy during her time in Congress through attacks on President Donald Trump and congressional Republicans that have at times contained profanity.

“SPOTTED Jasmine Crockett with a taxpayer-funded police escort, cutting everyone in line — even making DISABLED people wait,” McClain wrote on X. “Nothing to see here, just the next leader of the Democrats, abusing her power!”

On a commercial flight, you board when they tell you to board.  Lisa McClain knows this.

It's sad that our representatives require police escorts at the airport though.

So now it's about the process used to deport him, NOT the country we deported him to.  (And I thought Jello was squishy.)  So, if we give him an "adequate" hearing, you're okay with deportation to El Salvador?

BTW, it you can't even define what an "adequate" process is, how can you say his was inadequate?

Wrong.  You can board any time after your "group" is invited to board.  You don't have to take advantage of preferential treatment simply because its offered.  I've always found that how people react in such circumstances reveals a great deal about their character.

Is there ANYTHING the Left does that you don't excuse?

It's both.  Both the process and the country.
An adequate process would have said, "El Salvador is going to imprison him without trial, so let's send him somewhere else."
What happened was, we rounded him up, we called El Salvador, and we said, "we got a member of one of your gangs." We had never had any kind of a trial related to that.  We just accused him, and didn't give him an opportunity to contest it. We shouldn't do that.  But even so, given he was an illegal immigrant, it *could have been* OK to deport him if we knew El Salvador was going to let him be free or at least give him a trial.  We knew they weren't.  We shouldn't have deported him at that time to that place.  It was wrong.

It's sad that our representatives require police escorts at the airport though.

Wrong.  You can board any time after your "group" is invited to board.  You don't have to take advantage of preferential treatment simply because its offered.  I've always found that how people react in such circumstances reveals a great deal about their character.

Is there ANYTHING the Left does that you don't excuse?

You're taking this as fact because a member of Congress said it happened.  As long as the member is from the correct party, you believe them. You forget that strategically lying is basically in their job description, both parties.
You don't know if Mrs. Crockett knew there were disabled folks at the gate or not.
You don't know what type of disability they may have had.
You don't know if that disability actually meant they needed to board early.
You don't know if seats were already assigned.
You don't know if overhead space was abundant or scarce.
You don't know if the disabled person was counting on using overhead space or not.

And your quip about preferential treatment is specious. It is transportation. Like a four-way stop, you are supposed to go when it's your turn. It doesn't make you a better person to wave somebody else in front of you. What if they turn around and say no I insist, you go first and then the two of you start this little competition for who is the better person, while other people behind you are waiting. Don't play that way. If it's your turn, you go.
Welcome to the real world you ivory tower all you indoctrinators..........

Columbia University lays off around 180 staff after Trump administration revokes grants
Ivy League school recently lost $400M in federal funding over antisemitism concerns

Columbia University said it will cut around 180 staff members Tuesday following the Trump administration’s announcement in March that it canceled $400 million in federal grants over the Ivy League school’s "failure to protect Jewish students from antisemitic harassment."

"Across the research portfolio we have had to make difficult choices and unfortunately, today, nearly 180 of our colleagues who have been working, in whole or in part, on impacted federal grants, will receive notices of non-renewal or termination," acting Columbia University President Claire Shipman said in a statement. "This represents about 20% of the individuals who are funded in some manner by the terminated grants.
