Cards on the table- I think the SALT deduction should have a low cap, especially for people making over $400k annually. Those people can move to lower tax states or try to vote for smaller local government if they don't like it. So I agree with the more hard line "red state" Republicans on this.
I wouldn't raise rates but I would reduce deductions and loopholes that the very rich use.

Nothing like this gift of a jumbo jet has ever happened before. Honestly I think it would be fine, if our government kept the plane afterwards for the next President. Trump should not be allowed to keep such a gift for himself, obviously they wouldn't be offering if he wasn't President right now.
If I had to predict, there will be back channel discussions and the Qataris will withdraw the offer.

May want to investigate a bit more before posting. The disposition of the plane has already been established . The plane after being used by our government will either be kept by the government or be on display at the Trump Presidential library. It basically is a gift to the nation.
